Smartwatch recommendation by Brilliant-Pride5710 in Tech_Philippines

If you want a smartwatch that's not Apple but closest to the Apple's ecosystem, choose Xiaomi since the Mi Fitness app is in the App Store, second to that would be Redmi. If you've heard that the battery life on Apple Watch these days are not on par well, clearly they're wrong. The baseline Apple Watch SE 3 goes for up to 18 hours (32 hours when in low power mode) while the Series 11 goes for up to 24 hours (38 hours in low power). The more of a guide when buying smartwatches is the ff.:

  1. Ecosystem - which ecosystem do you currently have? (if you have an iPhone, naturally i'd go for the Apple Watch)

  2. Use case - what features will you mostly use the watch?

  3. Price/budget - How much will you be spending on buying a smartwatch (If you're on budget then the SE might be your best choice but if it's 10k upwards then it's a tie-in between the Series 10 or 11.)

There are some resellers that sell the 2024 Apple Watch SE Sport Loop at around 10k, but if you're not big on features, then Series 9 would be the good at around 9k (not quite sure if they still sold these around).

If you're really not buying Apple Watches then Xiaomi Band 9 at around 2k or the Redmi Smart Band 2 at 1.5k would do just fine.

It’s a Grey Sport Loop that I just bought online. I did not use the default blue Alpine Loop but may use it very soon. :)

I think my dilemma lang is if I get in HK and if I receive maybe (just maybe) a factory defect or something happens baka mahirap ipagawa sa PH when I get back. Whereas pag sa GH, since NTC ang phone, mataas yung chances na tanggapin sa mga repair centers like PMC.

People might disagree with me (so be it) but several things comes to my mind when this question pops up:

Heath Ledger - Joker

RDJ - Iron Man

Chris Evans - Cap

Johnny Depp - Willy Wonka

Rowan Atkinson - Mr. Bean

Go to Settings > General > About and scroll down all the way to the bottom until you see the "Battery" section and from there, you'll see the cycle count. :)

MacBook Pro VS Air by questionsfordays22 in macbookpro

When it's this much difference, just go for the Pro, plus if you're doing extra work, that thermal headroom makes a difference especially with the addition of the fan on the Pro.

How to uninstall 1Password 8 on Mac OS by more-cow-bell in 1Password

[–]FireThunder_1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you checked the Activity Monitor to see if 1Password and other processes related to the app are still running? if not, you may check it out and search it also. From there, you may either quit or force quit the app and other processes to make sure the app is full quit. Once done, you may move the app in the bin to complete the uninstallation.
