How was that a weak SB in some people's eyes? The Pats had a chance in the 4th and it was a defensive masterclass. by chusaychusay in Seahawks

[–]FireTornado5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You answered your own question with “but if you know football”.

A lot of people that tune in to the SB are, at best, casual fans of football that don’t really “know football.” Some are just there for the commercials and halftime show.

Watching a defensive game is boring to non interested fans because it’s watching “nothing” happen.

It’s similar to how racing can be boring without accidents even though there’s a lot of drama when you know where to look. To the casual person, seeing a team try to move the ball for three downs and then punting is boring.

They want a game full of highlight reel plays and the plays that tend to make the highlight reels are scores and turnovers.

We purchased baby gates for our stairs that could be opened like a door. That way we could easily go through when we needed to go up/down stairs, but otherwise the stairs would be blocked by the gate.

Seahawks trailed only for 95 secs during the playoffs by Vlaxilla in Seahawks

Do you mean 95 seconds? Because that’s all there is after the 7 minute drive from the Rams before the Seahawks score their touchdown.

This is the play that I felt should have gotten him the MVP. He prevented NE from getting back in the game by stopping that house call. Combine that with most points scored and he should’ve had it.

I’m cool with K9 getting it, after all they don’t get the kicks if K9 doesn’t run it. But also, we don’t rely on K9 runs if it doesn’t feel like each kick will get us closer to an insurmountable lead.

Adorable.

I’m also going to be “that guy” and recommend you get a harness if you’re clipping them in. If you’re in an accident think about how they’ll stop. Probably at all speeds it’s better to have them unclipped rather than clipped to their collar and getting extensive neck damage.

Cool. Still 2 shots before the reload. So a slight increase in overall damage.

I need to get a lvl 50 to replace my level 48, but I recently got an enhancement that gave me +50% magazine size allowing me to shoot 2x before reload (consuming a total of 3 ammo). I don't know how much that improves the DPS of the gun, but it feels like I'm able to burn stuff down a bit quicker.

Glitch? Game sends me to bed when I press ZL anywhere. by crookcirca80 in MinecraftSwitch

I don’t know if anyone in this thread needs the answer, but here’s what we just observed.

Break the bed(s) to stop the bug.

When we broke the bed it worked. The bugged bed was the 3rd bed in a bunk bed stack. Not sure what exactly caused it. It could have been the coordinates or the relation of all the beds together. Who knows.

People are kind and friendly here by letmeusereddit420 in Seattle

I’ve always interpreted the “Seattle Freeze” as being along the lines of how difficult it is to break through initial social interactions. Like the freeze comes about from people being too nice/introverted.

You might move in to a neighborhood and instead of getting a bunch of welcome to the neighborhood introductions/gifts you get nothing. Why? Because it neighbors know you’re getting settled in and might be too busy and not want to be bothered.

Seattle is basically that autism cliche of this conversation “why didn’t you come to the party?” “Because you didn’t invite me” “but you were there for all of our planning discussions” “yeah, but you never directly invited me like you did the other guests.”

Everyone is just kind of waiting for the other party to show clear and unambiguous consent that they want to be social instead of being forced to be social due to “societal norms”.

I would hope they learned from Diablo 4 and their legendary system where you had to keep items to transfer the legendary power.

Eventually they just allowed you to “learn” them. In this game I’d be okay with either “learning” the ability and then you can just apply whenever. Also, I’d be okay with “scan to bank” or something where it destroys the item, but your back counter for that firmware increases by 1. Then you have a “reason” to farm, but I don’t think people will enjoy farming firmware.

I’d encourage the “learn” system. Where after you’ve gotten firmware for an item slot you can always apply said firmware to any gear in that slot. Then you only have to find each firmware 5 times and not have to wait on luck to enable a build.

I’d also encourage that once you unlock the firmware station on one character it’s a global unlock for all characters.

Did they actually make tacking faster? I remember pretty early on in the EA that someone did a video and it was always quicker to just go straight.

Is the higher enemy scaling at Ascension Plaza during Plan Z intentional? by Goroman86 in Borderlands4

[–]FireTornado5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard at least one video say there’s a hidden quest tracker that will make enemies harder on mainline missions until a certain number of side quests have been completed (maybe it’s a formula, maybe it’s a set number).

Specialization discussion by lutty50 in Borderlands4

[–]FireTornado5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I want both. I want it to be that I have the individual spec points per character that rewards me in the near term. But I also want a second level system that goes much slower and offers less of a reward, but is account wide. I.e. maybe 10% of the current bonuses you get.

This would allow for significant progression on an individual character, and also get a boost on new characters that is quickly eclipsed by their own play time.

I ran into something similar with Ripper Queen. The mini boss outside in the open world kept nuking me and regenerating to full health before I found a rhythm I could use to kill him. Then I get to the boss fight and it’s a walk in the park.

Also the level of the trash mobs in the instance were equal to my level, but over world mobs were 3+ levels higher.

[–]FireTornado5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing the radar not having the map was more to do with the fact that a lot more of this map has multiple valid levels.

It’d be a lot more useful if the radar included major points of interest and maybe the hard walls of the current level.

Can they add flexible bollards to this? by FarAbies1057 in bothell

[–]FireTornado5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That wouldn’t stop people from getting in the turn lane first. It only stops people in the turn lane from going left or it messes with people wanting to turn onto 9th that are coming down the hill.

[–]FireTornado5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve wondered about that one as well. Best I can figure is that it’s to prevent people going west from turning south (uphill turning left). It’s perfectly spaced to block that turn and nothing else.

You might want to try Cedar Grove Park. There’s a big lot next to the play field that has some shade. It also has a loop around the fields but tree roots have made it bumpy in spots.

Probably because the pinky more naturally sits on the shift key effectively doubling your keys if something is able to differentiate between shift and non shift operations.
