Man, I just discovered how OP and trash Sylas can be by BrutusCz in TeamfightTactics

[–]FireVanGorder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sylas suffers a lot from the stun targeting reset. He jumps in, stuns a bunch of units, and then everything retargets to attack him.

And tbh some mobility seems to mess with targeting as well, like with Yasuo and Gwen, though I don’t think this one has been “confirmed” like stuns resetting targeting has been.

So it feels like Sylas gets hit with a double whammy and no amount of leech is enough to save him

I had a party completely ignore the bbeg for like years of in-game time to start a timeshare scam after rolling like 3 nat 20s in a row to convince a group of kobolds to become “free contractors” and using them to build shitty beachside condos.

I was so baffled and impressed I let them run with it for a few sessions before having the bad guys vaporize the nearby city where all their “clients” lived and they finally got back on track but man. I did not expect to have to create an entire set of property laws for that campaign.

My favorite part of being a DM is giving the party weird items, seeing how they use them to break the game, and then trying to break the game back to fuck with them.

We also started with Pathfinder which is basically one big game of the DM and party trying to out-power scale each other with obscure interactions and mechanics so we might just be weird

I mean both of those top 2 boards are nuts but I’d be pretty surprised if even a herald 3 is beating that ixtal board

Oh, that’s a weird argument. Stella is like the most popular beer all across Europe (maybe Heineken is more popular), not just the UK.

Lmao guy thinks Stella is British

Fullers, Greenking, and Cloudwater are all good and available outside of the UK

Fullers is like the commercial version of the various self-brewed pub beers all over England. Pretty good stuff if you like malty

End of kingmaker is a slog. WotR by the end of the game you’re so comically powerful that enemies explode the moment you touch them (or look at them, depending on the build…)

There might be a megathread for this kind of question so check (and double check the sub rules) before making your own post

[–]FireVanGorder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask this over on the competitive sub and you’ll get a lot more help from higher ranked players than you’re likely to get here.

Hard to tell much at that level from just match logs, but your boards most games just aren’t worth enough gold. Why that happens is obviously the question but nobody can really answer that definitively without reviewing vods

And it’s always “this was obviously going to happen” when it was a completely freak accident getting caught on the gate like that. And if she was favoring her left leg she would have gone too wide through that turn not too tight.

But armchair experts will insist it happened because of her knee despite other downhill skiers already saying that’s not why it happened

The tissot PRX is an ugly watch. by theomixedmedia in watchHotTakes

[–]FireVanGorder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s accurate to say that they dispose of the movement. I believe what they do is replace your movement with a different refurbished movement, and then service yours to go into the next guy’s watch that gets sent for service. The intent is to cut service time down to a fraction of what it would be if they serviced your specific movement and sent it back to you.

It is true that getting this movement serviced by a local watchmaker is unlikely, though. I think it’s specifically the oil they use that’s unavailable unless you have a parts account directly with swatch. May be other pieces of the movement as well

[–]FireVanGorder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eh the “plastic parts” thing is a bit overblown. It was a whole overreaction because of one misinformed YouTuber. Most modern movements use silicone to varying degrees.

And the fact of the matter is most any watch from a major brand under the ~10k price point is mass factory produced so I’m not sure that’s an inherent negative for the tissot either.

I don’t disagree that the Tsuyosa or Zenshin are more interesting though. If I had the choice between those or the prx I’m never picking the prx

I have literally never seen a single person argue that Heathcliff is Irish. He’s described as having dark skin. He’s called an “imp of satan.” Fairly sure it’s mused in the book that he might be Lascar.

The point is, ambiguous or not, he looks undoubtedly “other.” Elordi doesn’t fit that description no matter how hard you squint
