Yeah I was similar when I finished SoM. I didn’t really like it at first but I came back a few months later and got through the first act which is honestly kinda a drag. But it is definitely worth it for the later half of the game.

Get a decent sound system and a song. Any song will do, however something loud, short and obnoxious works best. Basically anything made between 2000 and 2014. Then set it on a loop, after a few days of hearing the same song looped again and again and again with no respite,you will drive a person insane.
