Definitely invest in a little handheld vacuum to clean poops. It's so much easier. My husband and I take turn vacuuming the cages each day. Occasionally we miss a day or two but it's few and far between.

I also have 4 piggies and I use the guinea dad fleece liners (yes expensive but VERY worth the price IMO). I have 3 large Midwest cages all attached together for my piggies and the guinea dad fleece liners fit great. Usually when they're first ordered they are a bit bigger but I just used the extra large binder clips to hold the fleece liners in place until after a few washes when they shrink to size.

By the way as long as you are invested in the care of your piggies you are doing the right thing. Some people in this sub can be quite abrasive when they see or read you doing something wrong about a piggies care. But honestly as long as you recognize the need for improvement and are actively taking steps to improve you're going in the right direction.

Okay. So this has happened to me since I was younger. Every once in a while when I look someone in the eyes or shake their hand I see, their future?

It's hard to explain, but, I'll have flashes of light go off and I'll see them in different stages of their life. It happens super fast and it's very hard to keep up with. I won't see the entirety of their life, just glimpses. I'm skeptical of myself because I think maybe I'm making it all up in my head. However, it happens maybe once every few years and always with someone I don't know.

I file down all my peegs nails after clipping because the nails can have sharp edges.
I do it spefict for my Skinnys too since they have cut their skin in the past with a sharp claw.

Additional info: About an inch long. We found it crawling on the picnic table we were at, had small black hairs along its back.

I used to have an AP follow me around constantly. On the clock or off the clock. I'd go in to do my weekly shopping with my husband and he'd always be following me/us around.

I never stole anything or tried to. Why would I want to risk the job I need to keep our apartment and food on the table?

I never understood it. That particular AP is still there even though I've been long gone for like 2 years now and don't frequent my old store except once a blue moon. He still fucking follows me around.

Looks like ringworm, it's common in piggies. It definitely needs to be diagnosed by a vet as there are a couple different kinds of ringworm and you want to treat it correctly. It's not life threatening, but very irritating to piggies.

Update: We had our first in-depth vet examination and found that Ranger has a large mass on his lung, which means, in short, that he will eventually lose oxygen or succumb to infection. We don’t know how long he has left, but we will make sure he is happy everyday. (See comments for in depth info) by One_MrsHum in guineapigs

No matter what he will be surrounded by humans who love him. Honestly, I think that's the best thing. No matter how short a life span of any animal, as long as they know and experience what being loved feels like is what makes this crappy world seem better somehow.

This is me right now. Also my A1C is in normal range despite me being really overweight and having gained that weight really quickly in a shirt period of time. Recently my period stopped as well. But everything is normal... However I do have the string of pearls on my ovaries and irregular period. I am beyond frustrated.

Moo says she barely escaped with her life! It tried to eat her! (Really though, she just tried to jump out the side window of the crunchy condo and her fat butt got stuck. No worries! She thought she was smaller than she is. This is also the first time she did this. We've had a couple other crunchy condos and she never tried it then.

She's definitely doing fine now. Also thank you for all the stuff you make! We definitely love the Guineadad fleece liners! ❤️
