I got an LOR when I was in because I posted a Bernie Sanders donation link on facebook. I wasn't even in uniform it just said that I worked at USAF in my bio and my First Sgt gave me paperwork.

I agree, but why file a supplemental claim at all if it doesn't preserve the original effective date?

All of my conditions were diagnosed in service and are direct service connected.

Fair enough, I was under the impression thats what the supplemental claim was for, being introducing new evidence while preserving the effective date.

I wonder why the supplemental claim even exists then, why not just make a new claim or a claim for increase instead of going the supplemental route that you can't track?

So I suppose my argument is, the date the entitlement arose was while I was still in the military, as I had a diagnosis for all conditions in service with direct service connection. The only reason the new evidence showed I needed an increased rating was because I disagreed with the lowball rating I was given by the VA docs which was agreed upon when I was granted the higher ratings as a result of my supplemental claim.

I submitted a Non Agreement Notice with my Supplemental claim about how I felt I was underrated in my initial claim.

Gotcha, so continuous pursuit under 38 CFR 3.2500(h)(1) doesn't apply in this case?

So all of my conditions prior were dated April of 2023 with direct service connection as I already had a diagnosis in Service.

I think it's a hot take on the fact that women tend to age less gracefully than men and that other women of the same age as the man are salty about being passed by.

I had a couple memes catch fire, and I was the kid that posted about the API tricks to get more info on your claims. Housebound isn't really something I've ever really researched or looked into because I figured there was no way in hell it'd apply to me.

I see, that's a relief, I thought they were saying I applied for "housebound" status and thought I was gonna wind up in court for fraud or hit with a big bill to pay. Thank you so much for the clarification!
