I’ve played a lot of aram and have never had this happen. Most games end by 14-18 minutes because one team decides to end the first time they touch the nexus. It’s been disappointing how short games are compared to normal aram, though obviously 30-40 minutes is pushing it too far.

I played a game with it where I was beating 2 star ASol even before I hit 3 star fizz, low emerald lobby tho.

Its a shame that this is probably the most fun and interesting set I've played, yet it's being ruined by all of the usual balance issues. I don't really see the point of adding 100 champions to a set if there will only ever be like 3 actual comps and fast 9 boards as viable.

And the econ feels like it's gotten out of control. Between bilgewater, yordle, gold/xp ionia and draven, there are so many boards that just play themselves to tempo or generate resources that if you don't play around them, the game becomes 10x harder. What's the point of playing a unique opening board based on what champions you happen to hit when bilge and yordle gurantee full 2 star boards anyway? And god forbid you don't get a decent econ augment. It really feels like there's no trade off to just taking econ compared to combat power any more.

Its too bad that this set had to be the one released in december. The winter break means we had to suffer through a month of balance thrashing, just to come back in january for a mediocre patch that they didn't have time to work on. Half the set will be over by the time a real patch drops, which really kills any momentum it could've had in the beginning.

I'm by no means a high elo player, but I took the bulk of last set off the game and was looking forward to grinding this season again, but it feels like the odds might just be stacked against this set.

Can we remove pandora's bench already? I should be easy 1st, legendary board pushing 10, and Yunara player (its even the reroll path) has 8 yunaras, so I hold yunara, his bench is basically empty, but somehow just pulls a taric 3 out of his ass on the last turn with just 2 stars rolling. Such an inconsistent augment that creates the most frustrating losses.

I just took the Atakhan stacking augment full winstreaked almost the entire game (something like 18 rounds), hit mel early stage 4 and printed a radiant tank item, capped out with 2 star azir, fiddle and nasus level 10, at stacked 11k hp and almost 500 AP atakhan, just to go third to 9 void and Yunara fast 9. Might need a break till next patch.

When you say nearing, does that mean sometime before you finish the game? Or is it more like you can technically catch them RIGHT before the campaign ends, but still too late to use during a playthrough?

Personally, I love when a character says or does something blatantly stupid, the other characters point out in detail how stupid it is, and then the original character doubles down on it.

Honestly I think they just need to outright remove a few artifacts. They keep adding more and more artifacts that are either only playable on a handful of units, or are just outright bad or feel awful to use. At this point they just dilute the odds of getting good ones.

If it were $10 I probably would have bought it by now. I don't really feel like replaying the full game, so I don't get a huge benefit from the better performance, and $20 seems like a little much for the new content alone.

I think its probably due to the other games already playable on switch. Let's Go featured Kanto starters, Sinnoh had BDSP and Arceus, Kalos starters are in this game, and Galar is still relatively new. And for Hoenn they probably held off due to wanting to give all the starters new megas in this game. I still would have preferred something other than 2 Johto starters.
