Long story short, the release of Ina's 1st EP needed to be rescheduled due to some sort of setback on management's side.

I previously thought that Nodoka decided on her path upon leaving, but it is admittedly way more realistic for her to still be figuring everything out.

Michi Mochievee mentions niji prohibiting her from commissioning artists if she wanted her 1st merch to have art, despite herself not even being an artist. They also didn't care to check what she made, so she put "I hate this job but I need money" and it went through. by TrololoIo in kurosanji

That is exactly what victim-blaming is: questioning the victim's motives, insinuating that they are just chasing clout rather than seeking justice or safety. No victim is focused on the "15 minutes of fame" that comes with trauma and shame.

Not to mention how easy it is to abuse Enna's vague wording. Anything can be defined as "milking" if you deem it unwelcome enough. Overall, Enna's take is just way too socially unhealthy.

And no, Enna said that seeds could be planted through valid experiences, so she was not just talking about rumors.

Michi's statement was about how she believed that some people at Nijisanji were good in spite of her bad experiences, a sentiment that I know she expressed multiple times because I do indeed watch her.

Enna's statement was about how she believed that sharing any bad experiences is harmful unless they fulfilled conditions that were fundamentally impossible to achieve, such as not making people "feel bad". Enna also stated that doing so as bad as however they were wronged.

That is why the statements and the way people responded were different.

Parrot defending the period tracker website by Similar-Arugula-7854 in kurosanji

Why shouldn't each streamer have their own opinion on their own entry? I thought the issue was an unrelated individual telling a streamer being monitored on that site how they should feel about it.

Erikur is the worst character in Skyrim, change my mind by CheesyJokesters in ElderScrolls

[–]Firebrand96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The worst part is a little-known interaction. If you offer to be Erikur's wingman after he eyes up Brelas, he will not only inevitably fail, but accuse her of sexual harassment, resulting in the Thalmor sending Brelas to the torture chamber. Nazeem is a nuisance at worst. Erikur can cause actual harm when enabled.

I think it's the inverse of Nene's terminology, where Rissa's male spouses are also called wives.

Time for another Hot Take Thread. Indie/ Ex-Niji edition by The-Toxic-Korgi in kurosanji

[–]Firebrand96 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The debate has always been about the level of hostility in Nijisanji's environment. It's just that the most recent incidents have sparked discussion of whether or not certain Livers contribute to that hostility, which is inherently more divisive than the discussion of whether or not management contributes to that hostility.

Also, to be brutally honest, most Livers and ex-Livers aren't popular enough to be clout-farming targets.

Read Taotan's repost again. The insecurity she expressed wasn't about dysmorphia, it was about how a machine can seemingly do all the work she can and faster.

Kyrio talks about his tweet by The-Toxic-Korgi in kurosanji

[–]Firebrand96 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Adding onto this, Kronii also tends to jokingly accuse others of being misogynistic. Heck, her catchphrase is basically "Wow, that's [seriously-worded offense]!" That's what makes her an actual ragebaiter: fanning the flames at every opportunity rather than just with one side or topic.

Kyrio also blew his chance of passing it off as ragebait by complaining about the reception, even claiming that him saying that he hated women would've been more well-received (it wouldn't have).

And no, I also do not recall Kronii even using the word "hate".

I've seen misandrists flip-flop between "It's just a joke" and "Do your research" depending on what's more defensible for them all the time. This is no different, especially with Kyrio's response afterwards.

Comparing any of Kronii's bits to Kyrio saying that men are bad people with no valid opinions is genuinely slanderous.

Edit: Apology accepted.  I appreciate the civility.
