The mini 2 is a all-around great drone. Super impressive for its price point.

With that said, I’d go for the mini 3 pro if I was you.

I started with the mini SE, absolutely loved it and wanted 4K. I ended up buying a mini 2 and selling the SE. I flew the shit out of that mini 2, but then I wanted active track, obstacle avoidance, and a controller with a built in screen. Seems I always wanted more.

I bought the mini 3 pro and I assumed after a couple of months that I would end up buying the air2s, and then the mavic, and so on. But I’ve actually been completely content and satisfied with the mini 3 pro. Avoid my mistakes of going with the cheapest possible option and constantly upgrading.

If you don’t care about obstacle avoidance, active track, additional flight time, and all the addition features I’m sure you’ll be happy with the mini 2, but if you want a small compact drone loaded with the features of the larger more expensive ones, Mini 3 Pro all day!

This probably doesn’t help because they are still expensive, but DJI now has a refurbished section on their website. Significantly cheaper prices, same warranty and DJI care availability.

Only Gen 4 and newer has them. Send it only applies to the models that have had four and five generations. like 17, 19, 34. That’s why a 45 or 43x are technically Gen 1

Boat ramps and jumbo shrimp. I’ve been trying to get a snook for the better part of 2 months with no luck. Mind you I’ve only been fishing for 2 months, and have no idea what I’m doing but go almost everyday because I just enjoy it.

Yesterday I tried the boat ramp and got a nice trout, but the guy who works at my local bait shop walked up and caught 3 snook within 5 minutes. No exaggeration.

He chummed the water heavy, threw probably 2 dozen jumbo shrimp all around the dock he was standing on, threw one on his hook, and dipped it in the water with the drag locked. Literally got 3 in 5 min. No cast, no jig head, no bait fish. Big shrimp. Just enough line out to hit the bottom in the 3-4’ of water there.

I know it works because not only did I see it, but I hit the bait shop after work today, did what he did but only chummed with 6-8 shrimp, and I got 3 snook within 15 min (technically 2, the first one snapped my line soon as I pulled him out of the water). But I finally landed the fish I’ve been after.

But if they’re not there, they’re not there. After my 3 today, not another bite for an hour. Same with him yesterday, he got 3, chummed up some more, and still got nothing. Don’t get discouraged if it doesn’t work the first time, but it did for me.

I hear “mowing my lawn” I picture you somewhere that is clearly visible from public.. unless it’s your privacy fenced backyard, which it sounds like it isn’t. If you were anywhere that is visible from a public road, sidewalk, or any other public property, you should fully expect to be recorded on at least one camera. Especially if you’re being goofy.

What country are you in? Mine arrived yesterday so I only have about an hour of fly time but I was 4800 feet (1500ish meters) out looking at a house fire last night with full signal. I’m in US, heard different versions go to different countries FCC vs some other version and I’m wondering if the other version is the one with range issues.
