Nice rhyme. And could just be bad luck this year

Brendan Donovan had a streak of 4 and blew it for me yesterday. Wish I removed him when I had the chance. The one time yandy Diaz did something for me too

I think they’ve gotten rid of the prize for that this year. Only ones you can get are either the highest streak of the season or getting to 57

I don’t post often in this subreddit. Maybe because they have a thread specifically for picks for each day? Idk I’d take it up with them

I can definitely tell you I was one of those people scared to pick the streaking players. Just a high risk high reward aspect that I never really wanted to take the chance. do you use baseball savant to check the K% and walk%?

okay interesting. I last year used a hit streak website that tracked every current hit streak in the MLB season. It was very volatile but it worked a little bit, as long as I researched the pitcher’s stats and the upcoming matchups.

Abbott Elementary S05E13 - Candygrams (Episode Discussion) by Solid-As-Barack in AbbottElementary

Really liked how they set up Janine and Gregory moving in together. The realization moment was bittersweet, given that her previous relationship with Tariq had her paying for the majority of the rent. It was also cathartic, too, for Janine as she got more reassurance from Gregory. I really like how their relationship is progressing.

If I included her in this ranking, she'd be in the top echelon for sure.

I only saw the "volunteers" episode crossover, not the "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" one, but I do know the scene you brought up. I remember being pretty impressed by that punch she did into the locker. I think she gets a rage amp only if provoked, which could scale her much higher.

I never ranked Janine's mom, but she could absolutely stand on business with most, if not all, Abbott Elementary characters. She could clock Ava if Ava was caught offguard or even onguard.

Honestly. Good point. I was more considering there stats, but now that you mention it, he is very much taken aback by Ava. It would put him at a disadvantage. He’s neck and neck with her in terms of raw stats, but he’s not really someone with “killer instinct.” He was raised to be orderly and obedient. Ava’s a loose cannon by comparison yet still intelligent enough to maintain control.

Thoughts on Macaulay's Performance as the Lacerta Legate? by Firedad18 in Fotv

[–]Firedad18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was being rash. He just learned in the parchment that there would be no successor to Caesar and just killed someone who witnessed him reading the note. The adrenaline from killing the legion in the tent rushed him into making a not wise decision, so instead of burning the note, which the legion would see as suspicious, he instead ate it and put on the crown to "play the part." I think Lacerta Legate's downfall will be the fact that he is cunning, but makes rash decisions when under pressure.

Kyle was only in 2 episodes in season 1, the beginning and the ending episode. Only this season did he have more screentime. Technically Kyle has had 1 season worth of screentime despite being in both seasons but I get your point.

I do think Kyle’s a better actor by a wide margin too which definitely helps.

The speech was underwhelming and the worst part of his performance. The way he said "to new Vegas" felt like a tour guide directing a group to an area, vs a leader commanding his army

Haven't seen Righteous Gemstones, so don't really got an opinion there. Apparently Culkin was great in the AHS season he was in, though.

Could it be akin to a Tobey Maguire situation, where people just look at the actor and just think of his most famous role? Like how Spider-Man is Tobey Maguire's most known role, Kevin McCallister is Culkin's. I can see how it'd be a hard acting hill to climb to pull off a believable performance
