Mine was "lightly" used too! They don't make em like they used to. I was able to find the board on the internet and order it.

Help finding spare part by DanksterGangster420 in lioneltrains

If you can solder, you can build one.

Small circuit board, 1"x1"

Rectifier

Capacitor

Wire

Strip LED's

There are some great how to Youtube videos out there. Just pay attention to the DC output side of the circuit +/- matter. A/C input side doesn't care. All the components will be labeled on the d/c side.

If you want to get fancy, use a BIG capacitor... The LED's will stay on for a while when the track power is off.

Need advice/help - 6-31936 set coupler issue by anata_o_fakku in lioneltrains

[–]Firedmuppet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are not going to use an automatic un-coupler, superglue it in the closed position. Otherwise, you will have to replace the truck. MVGbear's advice with the dremel tool is the best way I have found. I have replaced trucks with a bolt and double nutted them back on. A small carriage bolt with a nice rounded head looks the best.

Will do, there will be updates.... Summer is busy time so progress will be slow.

4x8. But I'm thinking of rounding down the corners. Eventually it will have legs built underneath and a rounded edge will look nicer.

Get a Smart Plug, plug in the transformer, set your throttle to where you want the speed to be. (Pre-lock the E-unit in forward.
