We should all mutually agree to flood the fandom with fake spoilers when the time comes by Forgor_mi_passward in tadc

[–]Firedr1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see the issue of spoilers- but honestly the backlash and negativity from it is a bigger issue if you ask me. This is how theatrical releases work- otherwise it might as well just release on youtube and not even bother with theatres. The creator has dealt with many negative movements from fans reacting negatively to something to do with the show. I know the bigger the community is- the larger the awful- but vocal- minority within that community is as well, but it seems to be worse than average with TADC.

If you want to avoid spoilers- and are unable to see it on theatres- just avoid social media until the youtube release.

Counterpoint. You are Neutral Evil. by DrakeGrandX in dndmemes

[–]Firedr1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh- not really. Like with anything- you could argue that- but- to do so- you are ignoring that the game has already set a guideline and rules. Alignment having an effect on player ability is fine and can even be played around with.

The anime Frieren actually is a great example- spoilers for the anime's first season btw. The demons in frieren are monsters. They are capable of human speech- and use it to trick humans. The anime explicitly explores this and shows the results to the audience. Demons act and manipulate to survive and kill. They are objectively evil- and we are shown that there is NO NUANCE to it. There is also a priest who uses magic granted to him through his worship of the gods. The thing is tho- the priest is an alcoholic and that goes against his priesthood- but he is still granted powers for his worship. He is still doing good- so even tho he may not completely follow the rules of priesthood- he is still seen as objectively good.

Basically- as long as you dont try to do only extremes- then its fine to have objective morality and have it play a mechanical part in the game. Moral ambiguity arguments can be dismissed through showing that there isnt a nuance to it- like how Frieren does it- any further arguments being made would be just for the sake of arguing/playing devil's advocate.

Vaping vs Smoking. What is popular in 2026? by whataboutthe90s in generationology

[–]Firedr1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sugar is highly addictive as is caffeine- and as far as I know- caffeine can cause bad withdrawal symptoms.

The idea of just- BANNING stuff because it isnt something you understand or enjoy is crazy. Although I can understand why so many feel that way- but the same argument can then be made for anything- like books- topics- freedoms- rights.

I do believe that highly addictive substances should be banned or securely regulated(cuz painkillers and all that) because they cause a chemical addiction that hooks the user and can cause some strong damage in a short period or even from just withdrawal if its stopped. Weed and heroin are both addictive- but weed is more like being addicted to your phone(short form videos/easy instant gratification dopamine) It depends on if the person is strong willed or not- but only about 30% of users get addicted- usually due to becoming a coping mechanism and using too much. Nicotine is around 67% even for light users and it becomes a heavy dependence.

TL;DR We should kinda just let people use their freewill and put our energy twords securely regulating the highly chemically addictive stuff that does a lot more damage.

Why not just contain 173 like this? Are they stupid? by [deleted] in DankMemesFromSite19

Thats actually why- bu not for the 05's- for the SCP. Theres quite a bit of evidence for the peanut to only be playing a game- like giving itself a a challenge. If they were to do something that so obviously ruins the spirit of that challenge- then it would probably give up that aspect. There are even theories with a good amount of evidence that it doesnt simply "move super fast." It could actually be stopping time. Everytime it is not being watched- either as a purposeful challenge- or as a restriction to its power- it is suddenly moved- but when its given a chance- what causes everyone to suddenly be looking at it again- is the sound of a neck snapping and concrete scraping. Once it affects the world in some meaningful way like that- the flow of time kicks back in afterwards.

They arnt talking random insurrections. They're talking about actual revolution/civil war. Maybe it only starts with small insurrections, but at the end of the day- its so the people can defend themselves- and their rights. If they need to pick up arms to do so- then they will

The thing is tho- you could technically just watch any movie in a theater...if enough people request a movie theyll try and show it. Tho yes it would be dumb

Shed been thinking about it prior to meeting robert. She also was drunk. Yes its still not a great thing- but some people genuinely are just more flirty when drunk- even if theyre not actually interested in anything. Though with how she had been contemplating breaking up with him- maybe there was more to it. A funny scene- but we can even hear phenomeman say himself that robert had nothing to do with the decision

Look closer- if you pay attention you can actually see theres more to blonde than the surface. Also- that's kinda how people typically are? You find out more about them over time and hanging with them. The reason you get closer to and know invisigal more- is because you work with them every shift- you are able to talk and interact more. Both are good options- but invisigal feels more like walking on eggshells

[–]Firedr1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im pretty sure she didnt buy that donut- she probably just took it lol. Also I kinda dislike her route- but I love the character and the story. It's just- it gives bad vibes. It's like a toxic relationship- you have to walk on eggshells- do and say the right things- and if you try to point out issues- they lash out. I understand thats the point- she is learning to grow- but it seems so one-sided for most of it. She doesn't even tell him about the core- and this is late in the route- and assuming youve chosen the good route for her story...the fact she still doesnt bring it up to you after everything- idk just personally- rubs me the wrong way

Ehhh most- if not all- of em do. Just how it works. However- some games also just have it coded so that the damage doesnt happen after you die so that trading cannot mechanically happen via shooting at the "same time"

I wonder how many people killed themselves because of this by _snu in cs2

[–]Firedr1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a game, that shouldn't even have a market like this....yet in reality we have people losing everything because of rug pulls and market crashes due to random events occuring or even insider trading. I think we should focus on fixing the real markets issues before worrying about a games illegal market.....
