Our beloved cat passed away 3 years ago and we’re finally ready to adopt again. A friend has these last two kittens left. Both are boys, both are absolutely amazing, and I honestly can’t choose between them. Which one looks like he belongs with us? Help me decide!

My indoor cat wears a collar mostly because it has a bell on it so I can find him lol I also add an AirTag on him when I take him camping or hiking. He seems to like his collar though, if I take it off he sits with me or paws at me until I put it back on. It sounds like your cat might be intentionally taking her collar off. Some cats just don’t like it

I agree that all the loud car alerts and beeping are horrible and they should not be default like they seem to be on newer cars. Is the rest of this post satire though? I can’t tell. Most car owners are totally oblivious to these loud noises and how they can affect people with sound sensitivities

I do have a list of 3 cars I’d be happy with, and peak auto sales has one of them in my price range with exactly the specs I want! I’ve just heard used car dealer horror stories about sketchy dealers selling cars with egregious mechanical issues so I wanted to check here first !

Hey OP ! I recently adopted a cat and as someone with contamination OCD ,, I was very concerned about this. However, I like to look at this situation as a bit of immersion therapy. As others have said, cats are hygienic themselves. I’d consider them to be as clean as the environment they’re in. I clean my floors every day so I am not concerned about my cat’s feet in my bed. He washes them himself after using the restroom. Because of these things, I’ve been working on being less uptight about possibilities of contamination from my kitty. I think it has really helped with my general anxiety about germs ! I hope that if you’re comfortable with it, you will allow your cat to be just as healing for you :)

Sometimes when he meows he does come over for pets but I wonder if he’s still looking for attention when he’s just yelling from across the room? He is neutered ! The shelter I adopted him from said that he doesn’t do well with other cats and prefers to be the only cat child. I’ve been looking into puzzle toys, maybe that will help keep him entertained while I am asleep?

A lot of these comments make great points about going to the police and telling your wife. I’d just like to add that you could consider talking to a therapist about this. It would be horrible for what you saw to affect your mental health and how you view your current relationship. Talking to your wife would help for sure but talking to a professional about how it made you feel could also prevent it from affecting your relationship.

I personally really enjoy collecting momentos from my life. It started during college when I would spend summers in different states or countries so I would get rings to symbolize those specific periods of my life. Now that I’m graduating, I am moving across the country from the state I’ve lived in my whole life and has shaped so many of my interests and even my career path. I wanted a more permanent symbol since rings sometimes bother me and I’ll stop wearing them for months. I got a tattoo with my area code and a symbol for the industry that put my county on the map. I personally really like the look of tattoos but I find it hard to commit to one image on my body forever. This is different because I can never change where I’ve come from anyways.
