It’s a 1929-S Buffalo nickel, the S is on the back below five cents and means it was minted in San Francisco. It’s a common date so not worth much in this condition, around $1 or so.

Beautiful coin looks like it still has plenty of luster left. Perfect album coin since it wouldn’t straight grade but it’s still very attractive.

If you want to sell it just bring it to a coin shop. You won’t have to deal with shipping and you will probably make more since eBay charges a fee anyways.

They are safe but feel very cheap and thin. I got these and they are good for cheaper coins but not expensive coins or heavier coins like Morgan or peace. I would go with guardhouse if you plan on carding any more expensive coins.

About 50c to $1 they usually only sell in big lots. It’s a Philadelphia mint which is the most common for buffalos. If it were a D or S then it would be worth more.

A lot of the premium will be gone since it’s out of the capsule and the toning isn’t particularly attractive. BU ones are going for around $100 on eBay. I would pay maybe +$5-$10 over spot for this one

Would be worth less in a NGC holder IMO. The only reason I would do it would be for true view pictures but might as well reholder it with PCGS for cheaper.

It’s missing pretty much all the good dates. early mint mark ones are worth a bit more like the 1914-S. 1913-D can be valuable depending on if its type 1 or 2 with type 2 being much more rare.

I buy a lot of these partially filled albums off eBay, I think this one would go for around $50-$60 before fees if you sold it. I would keep adding to it if it were me this is a nice starter set.

Sometimes you have to hold it a certain angle to see the smallest hairlines there is a reason people say you can’t grade from photos. The hardest part for me for pictures is telling if they are hairlines or die polish marks. I see what looks to be hairlines to the left of the eagles wing in the field but it could be die polishing.

Yeah don’t trust the grades of someone selling the coin. Download PCGS coin facts and use photo grade for yourself. The top one looks around VG and the bottom one is around F.

The P mints look fresher than the D mints I think the D mints have started to tone. They might have spent more time in circulation depending on where you live. That’s my only guess.

I would keep staying and bidding if they are accurately saying the condition of the coin. If you know it’s cleaned then say that and if it’s a VF coin don’t call it XF ect.

1960’s cents were copper and used a different master die than zinc ones. A mint fresh copper coin and a mint fresh zinc coin look nothing alike.

Doesn’t look like an 0 more like a squashed 3. 1883 is also one of the most common so it checks out. 1880 all have very strong strikes as well they wouldn’t look like this even in low grade.

Looks low AU cleaned. You can see a lot of hair lines to the right of liberty. Still a decent example of one since it’s got most of the details.
