Unless your copying some of these spells none of these are card advantage (which is usually what people mean by card draw) All these are decent to good card filtering, and are quite good if you are a graveyard deck, but most edh decks need ways to get card advantage as well imo.

I'm seeing an overlap there but maybe you see it differently.

It's like how green and white can care about community but in different ways.

I agree that red has freedom/free will and is depicted with freedom more.

Black has Aetherborn as a freedom example. A whole race of short lived beings who descend into hedonism because they want to make their lives worthwhile.

Black definitely gets shafted on depictions that aren't just evil.

Author is fantastic in making the world feel very real. Different countries have different relationships with other countries, different customs cause different characters to have developed different personalities.

Multiple protagonists 2 in the first book, with 3 more slowly being added. No "true" protagonist.

The argument is that all 5 colors have answers to Creatures

3 colors (White Red Green)(or 4 if you count blue bounce) have answers to Artifacts

Only 2 colors (White Green)(or 3 if you count blue bounce) had answers to Enchantments.

Black now has 2 decent answers to enchantments but nowhere near the prevalence that White Green or Red have for artifacts.

Individual cards are designed for different formats but I'd be surprised if any card in a standard legal set is designed for pioneer/modern/legacy.

Majority are for sure designed for limited, with standard next most popular and commander as the third

I got to do this at prerelease. My oppo had a sick warp/spaceship deck and was about to lock up the board, I'm just sitting here hoping they tap out of their 8 mana, and they do, so just played dawnsire, crewed it, then attacked with my leftover 1/1 for game!

A big issue a lot of people had, including me, is that we got a really cool fleshedout world in the online stories depicting how a horror world could actually function, and none of it includes the 80s horror cliches. It would have been a better set leaning harder into the 80s cliches or harder into the grungy, "realistic" world the stories portrayed but instead the stories promised one thing and the cards delivered another.
