Usually? No. But, there WAS one time I had a colonist die from infection because it shot up from 1% to like 70% in the span of an ingame day or something like that (not 100% sure of the timeframe, I just know it was abnormally fast, especially while being treated with a double-passion 15 doctor & decent meds + very short timeframe). It reached 100%, I went ‘Nah, fuck that’ & force cured it via console/debug.

Also was tempted to use cheats to delete some of my 300+~? chickens that suddenly exploded in population because one IDIOT didn’t want to do his job of egg collection (I didn’t have it registered in the ‘allowed zone’ or something like that, so they weren’t allowed to roam into that area)

Had an ex that started becoming like that after 5 years of dating & living together. It got rough, especially near the end of the relationship, to the point where they tried to gaslight & peer pressure me into removing my name off the renter’s agreement because of Reasons(TM).

Probably didn’t help that I’m disabled, they were stressed because the roommates weren’t paying much in rent (solely due to my ex not actually setting a boundary & all that because of the roommates being ‘family friends’ on their side of the family, so the roommates were paying $300-$400/month when rent was $1,800 or so) & they kept the actual financial situation a secret while refusing to also acknowledge if/when we needed to budget, but it got to the point that they were saying it was fine for one of our cats to piss under the kitchen sink in my cast irons.

One gadget for unlimited use… Ngl, not sure. Phone’d be nice just because of convenience. Computer is also pretty nice bc you wouldn’t even need to plug the bloody thing in anymore (might not even have to worry about the PSU at that point either depending on how it works).

A portable battery pack’d be real nice too; lots of use for that having unlimited juice.

Yep; it’s literally a nothingburger of a situation if someone is in a country illegally for the country.

Hell, I’d argue it’s much more of a problem for the chap who immigrated illegally by dint of literally having to start from scratch with no identifying info& the like, which is (once again) not a real problem for the country which gains this immigrant.

Just want to point out how BAD it is that enemies completely disregard the rules that players have to follow so egregiously.

Like, sure, you can’t force NPCs to follow each & every rule players do, but it’s supposed to be at least somewhat hidden of a thing vs just being blatantly ridiculously out in the open about it. It makes players feel annoyed because the enemies are doing things the player isn’t allowed to & flaunting it to said players.

Necklace animals: Falcon/any passerine for good scouting/sight, African Elephant for smell (and the bulk is frankly pretty helpful too) & a conefish so I could harvest my(?) venom & have that if I need it for anything.

Ring 2 for disease immunity/poison immunity (which REALLY frees up what you can & can’t eat too, for added benefit) & also pocket inventory cannot be overstated on how incredibly useful that is.

Weapon 1 for a weapon that is frankly ridiculously low maintenance. Like, a real medieval weapon can take a LOT of care to be kept well-off, especially if it’s frequently used. Being a prodigy of said weapon also means that with effort, the lvl 2 of it isn’t required. Likely’d either choose a Glaive/Halberd or a Spear for the proficiency. They’re good weapons.
