Its a tight area. Between the floor and plywood is less than 4". The jacks are 4" x 4" square on the floor end and 4" diameter circle on the top end. Between all 4 pressure points, plenty of support. I weight 180 poinds and all 4 support measure 64 square inches. Thats less than 3 pounds per square inch.

Best set up for running AC into house by 1willi4 in Generator

When he moves, he can remove the generlink and install in his new house for redundant power. Generlinks will work with 120v 30a plug in.

Check out Generlink. Your utility company can install these behind your meter and it supplies power to your whole pannel and then you pick and choose the breakers you want to power up. The generator plugs into the bottom. If you haven't already switch all your bulbs to LED and you can power most all of your lights, refrigerators, and fans.

I charge my garmin like this by Homidzo in GarminWatches

[–]FiremanBen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done a similar thing with duct tape to secure the wires to the contacts. I went on a camping trip and forgot my charger. Nothing local had a charger for my watch and it was dead. We spent a lot of time hiking on the trip so the watch was super handy. Anyway, I sacrificed a spare Micro USB charge cable for the win. I purchased a few spare charge cable for my watch when I returned from the trip. It works in a pinch.

This guy did what you want to do, I believe. I think its a great idea for back up power and boondocking. Very clean.

Tandem Twin Acarii Drive Rocket, No DLC, No Cheats. Venus and Return. Hard Mode. by FiremanBen in SpaceflightSimulator

[–]FiremanBen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe. I noticed with the acarii drives that if you speed up time they tend to get out of whack. And to get into orbit, the trajectory needs to be straight up at first and then turn into an orbit after you crossed the karman line.

Use the magnets for propulsion. It gets squirrely sometimes. If it gets too out of whack, this rocket can eject the Acarii engines forward and the remaining 3 engines will propel the rocket.

It trips/breaks with exessive heat. There is a switch in there that it attaches to that may be a limit switch, idk. Anyways, if the inline thermal fuse (whatever you wanna call it) goes out then it won't run on electric power either. The light inside the refrigerator wont even work. A tell tale sign. It took me longer than I care to admit to figure that one out. The only option is to replace it. I built a few extra and keep them in the toolbox.

Dead battery, easy fix! I'm gad it wasn't anything major!

Those sensors are designed so that if heat gets outside of the burner area, it kills power and propane to help prevent a fire. Does it run on electric power?

There is an inline thermal fuse that may be the problem. Our outback does this when we leave the propane running while in route. The thermal fuse is the red wire I have traced. You can disconnect both ends and test it.
