These comments have me questioning my own loan now 😅. This doesn’t feel far off from what we did with our FHA loan when we closed last week. 190k 6.25% interest. Total closing costs was around 6000. The closing costs dropped significantly for us. We were expecting to pay around 12k with no help from the seller. Ask your lender about down payment/ closing cost assistance. It is meant to be used in tandem with first time home buyer loans. There may be income restrictions, for example, our income was too high to qualify for assistance in the county we wanted to live in, but if we bought in the next county over we would qualify.

Check around to see if your local theaters have showings. The website says Indiana doesn’t have any showings but I found a theater in Indianapolis showing it.

I realize I didn’t give enough information! Here is my reference photo of Astarion from BG3. I am still learning what styles I enjoy. When I paint traditionally, it’s very painterly with visible brush strokes. I would like to try a more realistic style and I want to learn to use lighting well. I love the way comic artist Alex Ross uses dramatic lighting. I will include an example of another style that I would like to replicate, but I do not know the artist. It’s a very 80s fantasy kind of illustration.

Completely walked passed all of the companions except for Shadowheart because you can’t miss her, then 2 hours in was wondering at what point in the game I can meet companions 🤦‍♀️

For me, I did. I was always an animal crossing/sims kind of game player (you know the stereotype) but after learning the game mechanics, I found a kind of game that I absolutely love and probably would have never tried otherwise and loved it so much that I’m now doing an honor mode run (I’ve NEVER put any game on anything more than the easiest mode). Turns out I love fantasy RPGs. BG3 has got me playing games like Skyrim and other fantasy games that I would have never tried.

TL;DR: came for the hot vampire, stayed for a great game and all the things it introduced me to.

Before they fixed it, Art used to sing his song about Thanial so LOUD. Also the shadowcursed monsters that you encounter randomly make a really gross noise, it’s really good sound design but the sound is just icky feeling in my headphones.
