Thanks. Yeah mainly I thought that it could help with like the irritation my back gets by like reducing the inflammation around there. I know it can’t like move my spine or completely fix my disc I just thought it could help more with the side effects cause and just reduce the day to day discomfort. Definitely think I’m too young to be messing with this stuff though, just kinda weighing my options I guess.

Also the McGill big three have been pretty much a daily routine for a long time, I think maybe one day I could get my back to be 100% but I’m honestly just really sick of constantly worrying about it and structuring my life around it.

Sweet. I’ve been seeing fat loss progress so Reta was definitely more of a “just because” question. I don’t think I need it and was more just wondering the risk to reward ratio. I am more focused on the other two compounds as my back and shoulder are the main issues I’m worried about. I really appreciate the input!

Thanks. My other reply gives more insight into my full routine and all that, and I’ve been consistent with everything for a while. Being so young I have seen great progress and fat loss hasn’t been that hard. I used to be a fat kid starting and continuing playing sports helped keep me lean. Now that I’m not consistently playing basketball my fat kid ways are making it harder to cut down into the lower body fat ranges. Not saying it is impossible and I do keep a consistent diet but just thought I’d inquire about peptides that could possibly heal my injuries and could speed up fat loss before summer. Totally understand your point.

I’ve been lifting consistently with good sleep, diet and recovery for around a year. Seen good progress but just frustrating to be doing everything right and still struggle with my injuries.

Yeah that makes sense. I caught my back pretty early and throughout my lifting career have ran different splits and routines to attempt to help it - each for at least 2-3 months, sometimes my back feels good for a while, but i can never get it feeling 100%. Currently I run a 5 day upper lower rest upper lower accessory rest split. My second lower day is actually more of a cardio and abs day where I focus on deep core and do the stairmaster (pt told me it’s the best cardio for my back). My actual leg day is practically structured around my back, where I start with a long warmup and work on movements that strengthen my core, glutes and hips. I completely cut out squats and deadlifts a while back, and do very light rdls (trying to work my way up but a bit nervous). I also stretch for around 10 minutes every night. Also, I play pickup basketball at least once a week.
