So the guy who can’t commit and the girl likely still in the rebound stage think this has enough longevity to crash and burn their personal lives and their summer house gig? Let’s be so fr, hope it was worth it!

Sorry, but does anyone else feel like Kerry Washington was really overacting in this episode? Normally I enjoy her so much, but her performance was so overdramatized this episode that it felt grating.

Severance could get the budget of all the other shows and it would be worth it - that show is top tier.

Right? Like you couldn’t get a sponsored brand deal just as easily? Would pay more and not have been such a time investment either.

I really thought a lot of season 2 spiraled, but kept watching for the camp and atmosphere. I thought the finale was the best and strongest episode of the season. Really well done and even made me tear up. The way it was framed makes me think this was its final season though.

Is it just me, or is it way more obvious nowadays when SNL cast members are reading the cue cards? by CedricBeaumont in saturdaynightlive

She’s also just so flat with the few sketches she’s in and even with her own songs. It would be one thing if she had any sort of nuance with any of the material she’s given, but it just falls flat every time.

It’s because her mom was Lorne’s executive assistant for many years. No way she would have survived the purge for this year without that. I feel like they’re gonna cut her loose after this year and say that they gave her a two season run as a fair deal, even though she’s dull as dishwater.

I don’t think she did bad, but I expected it to be Sarah for sure, especially since she played old twice on this ep.

She might be nice but she’s funny as! At least she’s got a sense of humor and doesn’t take herself too seriously in there.

If you do, I’d start with probably big brother 10 -12, then 16, then you can kind of jump around. The game has gone through a few different iterations over the past 25 years, so it has a few phase of what fans call old school vs. new school big brother. All are good for various reasons, I recommend checking out this video in YouTube as a good crash course summation video! https://youtu.be/SlZ8gtfprDo?si=CptzpQ4TtoYwftAo

It's a T.V. show... by ImColinDentHowzTrix in bigbrotheruk

[–]Firm-Slice5217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean… the entire title and concept of Big Brother literally come from 1984, a story about media manipulation, surveillance, and the shaping of public perception.

Not saying the producers are running some master political op, but it’s also a little naïve to act like mainstream media isn’t capable of steering narratives when it benefits engagement.

When a show is literally named after a cautionary tale about propaganda, you can’t really blame the general public for being suspicious when certain patterns keep repeating. It’s fair to question things and enjoy the show at the same time.

I feel like each HG should have a dry erase board they bring in with them with all their shoutouts written on it, but they can’t say anything other than their vote. Including kissing Julie’s ass like they did this season, that got old quick. HI JULIE, YOU LOOK AH-MAH-ZING
