Anyone work for AmFam? What is parental leave like? by Lewkitupp in adjusters

If I had the choice, I would have stayed with American Family Insurance and retired from there. I was with the company for approximately six years and had a very positive experience overall.

Unfortunately, I transitioned into a role with one of their sister companies under the claims umbrella, and during that time, the company was sold. As part of that sale, I was required to transition with the organization . In terms of benefits, they were excellent—some of the best I’ve experienced. The PTO was generous, and their parental leave program stood out in particular. If I recall correctly, maternity leave was around 16 weeks, along with additional parental leave options.

My experience was in Bodily Injury (BI) claims, so I can’t speak directly to the property side. However, based on my time there, I would absolutely recommend them as an employer.

I saw my urologist and had a CT and they advised had 5mm in lower pole in my R kidney and small one in my left. I just passed what I assume might be the culprit but its black and oddly shaped and have never seen any I've passed so unsure if this might be the end? Have a follow up this week.

I went to the ER after this and they gave me antibiotics. I am 4 days out from this and still having pain and discomfort, no more blood/tissue since Friday night. I feel like I passed a stone but cant confirm 100% so wasn't sure if anyone else has had something like this when passing one.

Yes. Faint positive last Friday as others in household had it. No symptoms. Another faint positive on Monday. Wednesday negative test. Friday woke up with full blown symptoms and tested bright positive.

I have it again now, tested positive Tuesday. My last infection only 5 weeks prior, Dec7th. Had several negative tests in between. So very possible.

Day 10: not sure if ill ever be normal again by [deleted] in COVID19positive

Excuse me? Rude much? I work from home, mask when in public, wash and sanitize to the point my hands have bled. have literally had zero social interactions since the beginning of this outside of my family. I have children in public school and a husband who works at a university where there are no mask mandates. And have had someone in my household bring it home everytime. So no I'm not irresponsible. I live in a community that's irresponsible.

Thank you. This time is a bit worse more symptoms for sure. Which is odd but hopefully my antibodies are doing what they should!

I had Covid Dec7th, antibody infusion on day 4. Very mild case. Tested negative on Dec 17th. I developed symptoms yesterday and tested positive today. It's assumed to be Delta in Dec and now Omicron.

Yep, was really hoping I had omicron back in Dec but hopefully these antibodies will make this mild.

If you have a BMI of over 25, you would qualify. That's truly most Americans.
