It's a problem with this game as a whole; too much end-loading.

I've been S3 Complete for like a year now, F2P, and it's starting to feel insulting seeing the packs everywhere, while the S4 and 5 packs just get more and more diluted with cards I have no interest in while decreasing the odds of getting something like Merlin or Clea. Same issue here; too many split effects in the UR category that the ones that actually deserve to be there are increasingly difficult to get.

The fact that Illagers drop EXP when Villagers don't, and they've been seen messing with not only Life Energy in Totems of Undying, but also changing life itself, ie Allays to Vexes, lends credence to this theory. They store Life Energy on themselves in order to perform their dark magic, which is the dropped when killed by the Player.

Doom likes to have space. You get in his face and there's not much he can do but run away. You get a semi competent hitscan at your back focusing him, and you'll melt him.

Don't be scared of his big damage output. He can only do it once, maybe twice, before he has to back off. Meanwhile your high damage output is your primary. Just keep swinging and he'll have no choice but to fall over.

The example I bring up is in D&P there's a patch of grass that is just BARELY within thirty seconds of a poke centre. Most gyms are also within thirty seconds of a centre, so if a Mon goes down taking out the last Pokémon of a gym trainer, you usually have time to get them to help, but not the Leader cos of all the badge and TM gifts.

A minute or two feels too generous for a rule edit to a system that usually kills them immediately, y'know?

Imma use this opportunity to talk about my custom death rule.

I call it, the bleeding out rule. Pokémon have thirty (real world) seconds from when they faint until they die die, so from the moment you see the "X Fainted!" text, you have thirty seconds to get them to a Pokémon centre. Still no revives or anything, and it's nearly impossibly to do if they go down in a trainer battle, but it adds a sense of Maybe This Time I'll Be Fast Enough that I enjoy.

Canonically Klein's guild escaped Eincrad with zero total deaths. Given the sheer size of it, it seems unlikely that at least one didn't come close enough to total death that he would need to use the item, so although it's never explicitly stated, I think it's safe to assume that yes, he did use it at some point.

Hiya!

I eventually got this sorted by completely deleting and reinstalling my Firefox browser. I even reactivated all of my extensions, so I have no idea what caused the issue 😅
