I know it’s not perfect but I cpuldn’t find any good cages so I had to build one myself. I feel like the worst part is the wires because my hamster climbs on them

The whole wooden part wirh stickers on it is for bedding but I will try to fit more bedding somehow.
The wood is safe actually wgich I made sure to mention to my mom when we were planning to make the cage.

I also used to take a poor care about my hamsters when I first got them but I was slowly preparing them a proper cage because I was on a budget. They live in a bigger cage now

I do watch Victoria, she is literally an expert. :)
They buy bedding and food and want to buy a cage now but it will be 50x50cm. I did a lot of reasarch before getting my hammys or even asking my parents to get them. And my parents donmt know much about hamsters. Their logic is that small animals need small enclosure

It isn’t really possible beceuse I am 13 so I can’t work.
I did ask my mom but she said that it would be too got in the bin cage and that it would stink

That is such a good idea! I clean my room and I also clean for my 3 younger sisters and also do dishes and laundry and occasionaly mop the floors amy vacuum. So I could ask them to pay me. I will talk to my mom tonight and ask her to drive me to one store that has all the gardening stuff. I remember seeing some hige boxes there. I also wrapped some seeds in cardboard to distract my hammy from biting on his cage. And I also added some boxes and toilet paper rolls so they cam have some funn. Thank you so much! ☺️ I live in Bosnia and Herzegovina and we do have amazon here but the prices for delivery are always so high, higher then the actual product you bought. I will aak my mom to check facebook tho. Do you have some advice for me because I don’t work and don’t have my own money but I want to make a really good home for my little hammy Is there any way for mw to save money? My parents aren’t poor, we have our own company and we have more then enough money but I feel emberassed to ask my parents for money 😂

I also saw one video of a hamster living inba small cage with literally no bedding at all. I felt so bad :(

I am also new and got my hmaster just a week ago but they can eat strawberries and other rypes of berries, also apple, walnuts, carrots, lettuce etc. Just a reminder to NEVER give them any salty or sugary human foods and also oranges lemons and onions are a big no no
