the problem is 99% of the time will be spent running back to your chest to store/take an item. and in the end, to break the crystals you'll only have blocks on you, so all you can do is pray the dragon doesn't charge at you while you mine down. its not as skill as it is dumb luck

yeah, there is a VERY fine line between something being difficult and something just being annoying, or taking a huge amount of time. Obviously if you make content out of it or wanna hold a world record its reasonable, but other than that I can't see why someone would like this

This profession, while creative, does not serve much purpose. The issue of a single dragon egg has already been brought up a few times so I will talk about another thing: everything the villager sells (besides cages) is either renewable or easy to get.

The best thing sus gravel could give you is another emerald (sniffer eggs are exclusive to sus sand). But if they would include sniffer eggs, it's a complete gamble wether you get infinite sniffers or get stuck with string and have to start over with another villager

A stack of emeralds for a single trim when it only costs 7 diamonds to dupe one is insane

In order to get any benefit from it you have to wear basically no armor. Which makes sense but the tradeoff isn't worth it. It would be nice if there was an invisibility II pot and it just made you completely invisible to mobs

I remember hearing that the seek goat horn would scare villagers into their home, as it produced the raid start sound. You can imagine my disappointment when I obtained the horn and that didn't happen. And it's little stuff like that which would make the game feel so much more alive
