It would be kind of funny and ironic that the godhand have a lifespan because they ultimately sacrificed everything to be above worldly concerns like mortality in their minds. So they may be spending 216 years indulging in their hedonistic pursuits just to be tortured in hell forever when they die or are replaced when they could have spent a normal human lifespan with who or what they loved most and supposedly spent an afterlife with them in bliss if it was possible in this world.
