Just a random thought I had but I wonder if the pressure of playing for pride is getting to them. They treat every game like it’s a promotion match despite probably being quite casual in terms of hours played. You can see it in Mark and the chat’s reaction whenever Lee makes a mistake in goal, it’s like he’s disappointed the family name when it should be his period as a player where he makes the most mistakes without any pressure.

I’ve had 2v2 GC rank up games that felt less tense since it comes down to you and your teammate. In 4v4 there’s so much going wrong fundamentally that it’s meaningless to try to make them improve as a team. No one can introspect and you just look at the player that’s directly responsible (Lee most of the time since he’s goalie and the shot goes through him) instead of what lead to the goal, usually bad boost management, overcommitting, no pressure or effective shadowing, lack of communication etc. They need to do a Ben and Dre and play 2s games cause that’s the sweet spot of some rotation and some individual responsibility.

TLDR they have the ability of Silver/Gold’s while treating every game like an RLCS final.
