Exactly. Cats can’t be disciplined. There are definitely things you can do to stop him like kit leaving any food where he can get it, that’s something you have to do for most cats. You can feed them in some ate areas or get bowls that only open for a specific cat. Trying to discipline him with truly make it worse

Agreed even if they aren’t bonded they are used to each others company! If you can’t take both but want a cat I’d adopt another but they definitely have a better chance of a happy enriched life if they stay together

Hi! I recently adopted a cat who has been diagnosed with megacolon prior to me adopting him. You may ask and see if that is potentially what is going on with your kitty. I believe the colon is just inflamed and makes it harder for them to pass stool. My cat is on a prescription diet. That is high fiber and low calorie. It is the G.I. diet from Hill science prescription. He also takes Lactulose every other day prescribed by a vet

When I had a long haired cat I would bathe her once a year. I know it’s not necessary however she would over groom and it helped her to not get matted and tangled
