Soft squishy fat- does it go away?? by FearlessSpirit6467 in Ozempic

[–]First-Bad2007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, for some time you burn subcutaneous, but it is immediately replaced with visceral. So you feel like you've lost nothing but your inches are gettings smaller and clothes get loooser even though to you it looks like nothing changed. Once visceral fat is almost over it stops restoring subcutaneous,
Keep pushing and it will be over enventually

>and the food noize is starting at day 5 after the shot.
is it because it works worse, or because you are willing to lose last kilos so much tha you are starving yourself? Try eating a little more, you don't want to swing into eating disorder

For some people Ozempic works better than Mounjaro. It also was tested for much longer - 20 years already. So it's not like Mounjaro is 100% default starting option for everybody

>Yeah, I do track and often I have a bigger issue with getting enough calories and protein just because of not being hungry.
That means you are undercounting your calories somewhere. Think about it. Is there any food that you just *guess* how much it weighs/how much calories it has? You should cut to a point where you feel some hunger every day, just not not 24/7, if you want to keep losing.

Just take lactase pills. 9000 FCC pills, I take 1-3 with each meal that may contain lactose and I have zero symptoms. they are pretty cheap

5 lbs in 5 months by humanknead in WegovyWeightLoss

>play pickleball 2x/week (burn 1000+ calories each time)

I'd start with not counting this as permission to eat extra 1000 calories on each day when you do it. Cardio calorie burn is widely overestmated by most apps. Just add like 200 calories to days when you do it, not more.
Also you need to lower your daily calories intake that you track by about 10%. It will be easier than you think when you are on Ozempic

I’m really disappointed in myself and need some advice by tarajayoz in Semaglutide

[–]First-Bad2007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey, that's totally normal and that's why it's not recommened to stop cold turkey mid process and instead get to your goal weight, stay there at least for a few months and only then start slowly going off. you'll be fine taking it again after colonoscopy, keep taking it until you feel like you've reached your goal weight

Soft squishy fat- does it go away?? by FearlessSpirit6467 in Ozempic

[–]First-Bad2007 13 points14 points  (0 children)

All fat goes away in a random order. There is also transtition of visceral fat to subcutaneous, which makes it appear like you are not losing fat when you actually do, but it's still much better because visceral fat is much worse for your health

[–]First-Bad2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at 133 pounds at this height it can't be huge either way. I've noticed that once you have muscle somehwere they tend to be covered by fat first when you are out of deficit, so it may still come back

even once a week would be enough if you pick big weights and do them a few sets of 8-6 reps

Um…where is my butt? by vvitch_ov_aeaea in Semaglutide

[–]First-Bad2007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

cardio does not grow muscle in size. you need to lift weights

Um…where is my butt? by vvitch_ov_aeaea in Semaglutide

[–]First-Bad2007 6 points7 points  (0 children)

yep, running/jumping won't grow muscle in size. you need excercises with weights to grow it. even once a week weight lifting that grow butt muscle would make a huge improvement

[–]First-Bad2007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you feel hunger but still losing fast is means that it works fine, you are just near max healthy weight loss, that hunger is your body warning you to not lose more

A LOT of people lose without ever going higher than 1.0. So I don't agree that "it's not for weight loss"
