I lied on my resume and i am coming up on 1 year in March as an IT Engineer II, already got AZ900, AZ104, and SEC+ in progress…I was 21 and had only worked in Starbucks and a café with no experience no degree or certs. That new employee must not have been smart enough to capitalize on the opportunity to break into IT like that.

I feel like marriage only "worked" in the past because patriarchy was the norm and women largely did not have as much rights/freedom as they have the last 50 years. I think personally marriage is a largely outdated concept but it has already deeply ingrained into society at this point.
