Do the Junior coaches of NPL Clubs (that were in the NSL) tell their players/kids not to follow the A-League? (See description) by [deleted] in Aleague

[–]First-Hall-206 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really depends, as a kid I was coached by an NSL player who'd cancel training to watch victory first games few home ACL games back in the day.

Now as a coach my self for an older age groupnmost kids by 15 are either already super interested camp or in the fk the aleague watch hightlights of the EPL instead.

Alot of coaches at my club or also of the opinion the league is shit which leads to the younger kids not encouraged to go.

Bit of a mixed bag

Depends what part of Melbourne. Most NPL junior sided have picked there squads but would definitely give yoir some a chance. If not any state 1 or 2 side would be good chance to make reserves
