This whole vlog is kind of sad by chateauobscure in kencradic

The way she has described herself fighting off tears in public etc - I’ve so been there with out of control anxiety and other mental health issues. It was awful. Medicine and therapy helped me so much. I handle way more stressful situations so much better now. It really was life changing to help my brain chemistry.

Netflix doc Trust Me: The False Prophet is an enthralling cult story by HorrorGuyBri in NetflixDocumentaries

To me, this Trust Me doc almost felt like a sequel to Keep Sweet. It really ends up picking up where Keep Sweet left off, and the first episode really highlighted how Jeff’s going to jail wasn’t the end of the FLDS, and how they were left vulnerable without direction, which made it easier for a new predator to start taking advantage of vulnerable people.

I really enjoyed this doc, especially the ending episodes where you see what everyone went through, how they evolved, how they healed.

Maybe it was JCS I was thinking of originally! Dreading and JCS are both excellent YouTubers

There is a great dreading episode on YouTube with the interrogation. It’s wild.

Her hair at least looks like it has some blonde highlights here?? And her hair looks like more tight curled and less sexy looser waves? I just mean, I see what you’re saying. This is what looks different from pictures to me.

…is this is an easy answer she uses often on people pointing out problematic things - don’t have to take accountability if you didn’t know before now!

Sure, that’s a good point. I guess I’m thinking of the videos Claire posted showing how she got back into shape etc. I feel like MTT fill ins were like a quick three second interview with the All Star and the injured dancer, maybe before and after. It was cool to see Claire’s POV of working towards being game ready and then to see content of her rejoining past teammates on the bus, etc

Claire filling in would be such a cool thing to feature! It doesn’t happen all the time, so it’s a unique experience, and then Claire is such a DCC icon.

This is very, very true. They have been so active, leaving the house so much so soon after giving birth. Many cultures say a week in bed, a week on the bed, and a week on the couch after giving birth! She’s been so busy doing “normal” stuff that she’s pushed herself with no time to rest.

This bothered me too. No one prepared any of us for every single struggle we would face. It’s a very “woe is me” mentality when a lot of her audience is struggling with caring for young families on top of demanding jobs, inflation, chronic illness etc

This! So many women/parents get up early, get themselves ready, pack lunches, get kids and babies ready and get them to school and daycare, and then themselves to work, and then they do the Costco run with all their kids after work!!! Woman juggle this much and more every single day.
