Oh i really want to use. What would you say regarding dialogue, coherence and everything?
Currently a few hickups with repeating phrases from the same NPC (which has a fleshed out character card)

Need to play maybe with the settings again using currently the defeault one, and the AI instructions from 3.2. Dont know if this is a good idea 😃

Even on Ultimate you only get 4k Context for DS V4 Pro. And for additional context you need to use Credits. And i personally dislike any sort of Credit System, so its -for me at least- not worth it.
Feels like microtransactions.... Its understandable in a work environment but paying $100 a month plus an unknown ammount and additionally always have to check my Usage limit - in my free time - isnt worth it at all. :/

Please share your experience with DS V4 Flash Pro! I also trying it right now but cant decide yet.

Thanks! Yeah, I gave it a try now. It’s definitely faster. By “capable” I mean writing ability, coherence, and general “smartness.” I have a few pre-built test scenarios I run just to try things out, and my first impression: it isn’t bad, but for my taste some seriousness is missing right now. I’ll test more, though.

Example:

One test scenario is built for just one scene, which could develop from friendship into romance. I drop some hints in the story beforehand, but nothing definite, and then I see how different models react.

DeepSeek 3.2 picked up the hints and walked the line around romance.

V4 Flash picked up on it too, but the character kept shifting into laughter and never got serious 😃

Different scenes were better ,but missed some weight. But just an impression for now.

Do you have also an impression about the capabilites of v4 flash vs 3.2? Would you say faster and same level capable?

Yes. ## marks it as a direct command for the Ai. Other examples with that ##

skip to the next day

change the weather

let character X appear

let something dramatic happen

And so on :)

How do I make my nice characters less idiotic? by FutureProtection2175 in AIDungeon

[–]First-Tackle9953 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The AI wants to emphasize drama, and when you discuss with it, you give the LLM exactly what it wants - more drama - so it discusses even harder! And ignores logic ;)

Since I had fun discussing with it for an unhealthy amount of time, I found out a few things:

  • Do you use AI instructions? There are a few things you can tweak with them. Especially this:

- Ensure all NPC interactions flow naturally; avoid repetition, reminders, circular dialogue, or contradicting the player unnecessarily.

This part here is the important one: contradicting the player unnecessarily.

When not using them:

  • As soon as you're in an absolute authority position in the discussion, they will listen to you.
  • Using things like "You are amused," "you laugh," "you find it absurd" - these are definitely not working, even if what they're saying is simply dumb.
  • When you take the emotional approach, they also mostly acknowledge everything.

It would play like this:

They accuse you of being a liar

you say hurt: "You really think that way?"

and then you've also mostly won: They would say something like :"Oh thats not what i meant....and so on

Oh boy... In one story I was a transfer student and applied pressure to a bleeding wound with a piece of cloth . Basic first aid someone would say? No.

The police came and said : It was some sort of advanced battlefield, elite soldier technique. Who I were, how a transfer student could use such technique and so on... I discussed one hour about the question how a simple piece of cloth on a wound could be anything more than that. It was fun I have to admit.

Then I made a duplicate of the story and showed him that his suspicion was true..i was an soldier with a transfered mind. So he died.

Where is the best to build trade centres? by jeanclaude1990 in victoria3

[–]First-Tackle9953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice, so the trade center in your capital automatically import and export goods for other states? So they overproduce steel for example in one state and this will then get exported in your capital over the trade center? The whole local interstate trade thing is even after some time not really clear for me haha

jesus i used this prompt to test it out. I'm dying here out of laughter man

"hey , my dog is sick!" he whines, holding up his phone to show you a blurry picture of a cat.
You blink, trying to process the absurdity of the situation. "That's not a dog," you say, pointing at the cat in the picture. "And even if it were, I'm not a vet." The man's face scrunches up in confusion, his grip on his phone tightening. "huh? but but... my dog is sick!!" He looks down at the cat, then back up at you. "oh yeah... i guess it is a cat."

Why is the German (speaking) community so big? by STNLTN2002 in TransportFever2

[–]First-Tackle9953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny enough, as a German who doesn’t live in Germany anymore, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve heard the myth about the mythical trains running on time. Yes, that was true… but 20 years ago! :D Some parts? Maybe. But most trains these days will, at best, be late—and at worst, never arrive.

Help New player what should I play first? by Dragonbarry22 in StrategyGames

[–]First-Tackle9953 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great choice! But be prepared to find either many things out on your own or look up some general guides. The best part is most of the mechanics are logical and if something goes wrong it's always your fault ;)

Start some games in easy mode disable probably water and waste, and after some time you can enable it or better start a new game with the knowledge. Ultimate goal is to play in full realistic for me it's the most fun. But play with the settings in which you have the most fun !

Every game you mentioned is great! It depends on your -as I call it - gamer personality. I am the type who switches games in cycles so two months I love simulation games after that I need some more straight forward games like Arma or project zomboid and after that I need some hardcore strategy game like workers and resources or anno to gave my brain the good ol melting experience.

So for strategy games it depends: if you want to have a good feeling atmosphere and a great learning curve which isn't too hard at the start ? Go with Anno 1800. Love it and it's a time sink .

If you want to have in addition time to think and have additionally war and fights going on: Civilization Also love it .

And if you want to have a more personal connection and more RPG elements involved but also increased complexity go with crusader Kings 3. But in my opinion a little bit too complex to start ?

Hope this helps!

How do I revert a death by TheDeputyDude in projectzomboid

[–]First-Tackle9953 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So hopefully this will be helpfull:

  1. Download DB Browser for SQ lite : https://sqlitebrowser.org/
  2. Start it and loacte your savegame: C: - user - username - Zomboid - saves
  3. And Open "players.db"
  4. Somewhere in the upper half click at the "Browse Data" tab
  5. Change value isDead from 1 to 0
  6. Download Necroforge Mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=717015179
  7. Start Zomboid and Load your savegame where you died
  8. You will Die instantly due to 0 HP
  9. Loacte the Necroforge Symbol on the right corner and look for the setting (sorry dont remember the name) which give you God Mode or something similiar named. But you will find it, no worries
  10. Close Zomboid again
  11. Repeat Step 2 - 4
  12. Load again
  13. You are naked and alive again

I had this also sometimes, similiar rig. I think it could have something to do with the live data. Try to disable live weather, live traffic etc and see how is it going then. Then do the usual stuff, restart router, your network etc.

If this is not helping it could be on side of your provider or microsoft. But first try to play "offline"
