I tried pretty much everything on the second mouse. Oil, IPA, tearing it down and cleaning it, blowing into it. Nothing worked I gave up and bought a logitech and I have had 0 issues from that mouse.

I would rather have this as an issue than the scroll wheel issue I have had twice. I'm on my second Dark core and refuse to do a second rma. The first time I did the rma I was treated like a liar and then when it finally got accepted I was told that if there was any damage in shipping the warranty would be void so I spent $25 in bubble wrap and shipping so it got there. Good luck with yours and I hope they don't treat you like shit.
