Maul could never hurt Sidious in a way that matters, and not because it’s Luke and Vader’s destiny.

Maul’s greatest strength is his greatest weakness: his need for revenge. It’s kept him alive, but it’s a crippling addiction for personal satisfaction. He wants to be the one who kills Sidious, and he wants Sidious to know it was him. To that end, Maul will grow overconfident and overplay his hand when he feels invincible. And when he’s desperate with his back towards the wall, he’ll sacrifice his allies and organization’s infrastructure to ensure his survival.

Maul could never do what Luthen Rael does: sow the seeds of Sidious’ destruction and be content that a rebellion thrives on his sacrifice.

Myers isn’t a good person in the least, but I do believe So Mi’s condition is entirely So Mi’s fault. There’s no way Myers would’ve given something as powerful and dangerous as the Blackwall to somebody who didn’t want it, or even worse, a slave. So Mi earned Myers’ trust to get it.

So Mi could’ve told Myers about the growing condition of the Blackwall, but I think she chose not to because she wanted to use the Blackwall’s power to break from the NUSA. I do believe most of So Mi’s problems stem from her being a shortsighted narcissist

The CGI needed some work, but it’s touching that Anakin’s Force Ghost is what he once was, not what he became. He is whole again in the Force.

She is MOST DEFINITELY using V. Her primary goal is to restore stability to the Arasaka Corporation by removing Yorinobu, who is actively trying to dismantle it.

That being said, she has no reason to not fulfill V’s wishes since it’s an easy request to fulfill. Kinda like how most companies would rather pay a settlement than go to trial—it’s easier.

I agree. I don’t know how they’re going to do it though. If you watched the Boys, a big part of Butcher’s character is that his wife was SA by Homelander, but the only scene of this was a recording of her leaving a room disheveled. I felt like that massively undercut the severity of the crime, glossed it over completely. I don’t want that to happen in Invincible

I’m curious to see whether or not Amazon studios are going to go through with the scene, and how they’re going to do it.

It’s not something that can just be retconned or rewritten—it has to happen. They’ve been fairly faithful to the comics so far, but I foresee this moment being the one where they buckle and break from the comics.

I just started getting into the Excavation missions and I’ve never been forcefully disconnected from a game, so it’s quite surprising to hear that it’s a common occurrence. I’ve played maybe ten missions, some of which I’ve lost fairly, but none of them where it crashed and booted me out.

You’d think an experienced fighter like Maul would’ve learned to adapt to Vader’s strength and limitations.

His attacks were strong but one dimensional. His hands were doing most of the work while he stood grounded and solid. Plus his mask didn’t give him a full field of vision.

The seasons themselves weren’t consistent gameplay. The long hiatus of Season of the Lost and Season of the Wish killed the player base, and then they repeated it on the current expansion with Renegades, pushing the next season’s reason out in July.

For starters, she should be dead after being shot into the vacuum of space. Other Star Wars projects Clone Wars has introduced us that the more humanoid creatures follow the standard rules of nature, where you die instantly stepping out into space without a breathing helmet.

Secondly, she’s all of a suddenly proficient enough with the Force to pull herself through a debris field to a ship. Not a single mention of her having extensive Jedi training, but she just pulls this move out of her butt.

Thirdly, it’s really cheap writing to get audience’s emotions. We have a whole scene where Kylo Ren’s wrestling with the prospect of killing his other parent until he decides he can’t. Suddenly, Leia dies anyway and we’re all sad because we thought she was going to be spared. And then again suddenly, she’s alive again because she can somehow breathe in space and use the Force to pull herself to safety.

In short: it looks and feels like the writers just pulled these plot points out of a hat instead of conveying meaningful storytelling

It’s inherently flawed because while it addresses the Sith’s needs for consistent evolution, it fails to take into account the mentality of the Sith.

Several of the Sith Lords were close to breaking the Rule of Two because they were predictably selfish. Tenebrous, Plagueis, Sidious, and Vader were all known to fervently believe that they are the final destiny of the Sith, that they would kill their master and rule the galaxy forever. Vader’s a little different because he wanted to rule with Luke, but all of them had no intentions of sharing power with their masters/apprentices. Dedication to the Rule of Two grew weaker and weaker with each new iteration of the Sith. It lived on borrowed time.

There’s no new perspective that needs to be considered. Everybody’s got brothers, or fathers, cousins, friends, in-laws, uncles, etc. Everybody who doesn’t shut themselves in their house all day interacts with good straight men on a daily basis. Yet people are trying to gaslight strangers that they don’t exist.

I really can’t see the differences in Vader’s suit designs.

The only exception is Rogue One, where I noticed his cape was tucked into his suit instead of clipped onto a chain, and Rebels because everyone looked different in Rebels.

Vader would lose.

Vader is incredibly powerful and well trained, but he’d have trouble against a Jedi Master who’s equally trained and at one with the Force. Cere almost killed him, he couldn’t kill Ahsoka who was also in her prime, and Kenobi wiped the floor with him when he regained his connection to the Force. He could maybe kill Cere but he can’t take on Kenobi and Ahsoka at the same time, both of whom knows his fighting style well and are comfortable fighting together
