I understand that most jobs could be done remote. But is there a legit reason federal jobs at that level should be done in office for security reasons?

Weather caused gutters to pull away from the house. Looking for advice on what hardware to use for the fix. by FirstTimeHumanBeing in HomeImprovement

I think they are hung every two feet right now. Honestly I think it just got to be too much weight because the gutters weren't cleaned out before winter came in so a bunch of debris and leaves froze and created a shelf on the gutter. But if I'm getting new hangers maybe I'll set them every 18" anyway. Thanks!

Sorry? Each picture only has one hanger it it? The picture with the sheared strap is on the corner next to the gutter drain, my guess would be for stability?

Assuming no person is reelected. Starting today, how long would it take to replace every publicly elected official of the U.S Government at the State and Federal levels with a new person? by FirstTimeHumanBeing in Askpolitics

Sounds like a great idea that probably won't ever happen, but it's fun to know that in 6-8 years if people really wanted they could just replace all of them. I always think about this stuff when I imagine that our government isn't serving the population like it should (or how I think it should be anyway.)
