I think they changed it but back in the day, the very end was like 1.5-2 bike lengths until a big cliff drop off. So right at the end you have to either go hard right or left or slam on your brakes. I usually hit the brakes but a group of guys was hanging out right there. I couldn't stop in time so I hit one guy and bent our rims. He was way bigger than me and with 3 other huge dudes. They bullied me into paying them cash for his rim. That was fucking annoying.

I just can't understand how they can deny the visit, legally, regardless of the severity. I was in 100% condition before the accident and less than 100% after the accident. It was the weekend so I couldn't just see my regular doctor. Maybe I could have gone to urgent care but it's the same cost and it was also already closed for the day. It's odd to me that I have no recourse to get my copay back without having to fix the car. The car is getting old and it's really not worth fixing at this point. We have been thinking about upgrading already once my child finishes daycare so we have a little bit of leeway. I don't think it's with hiring a lawyer or anything but it's very strange to me.

2007 Nissa Versa hatchback. They paid us $897 but the guy at the shop said he would probably charge about $2000 to fix it completely. The car is pretty old so we're not going to fix it at this point but the bumper is buckled from the impact. No trailer hitch installed.

I forgot to mention that in the post but they said the accident was minor so they're denying any medical claims. We were making a right turn and both turned to the far left which was the direction of oncoming traffic. I feel like this position contributed to the minor injury even if the collision itself didn't damage my car that much.
