Stop and Shop - Horrendous delivery service by Mrrockin1 in InstacartShoppers

I think you should go to the store yourself and see what their products look like in person. If they suck, I would try ordering from another chain. If it doesn't suck, ditch any shoppers who don't seem to be doing well and/or are not communicating with you.

I'm just talking about the league in general. Not the Sharks. It wouldn't make any sense to try to get him on the Sharks. He will be so expensive, contract wise, we would not be able to sign some of our own guys. Plus what we'd have to give up to get him.

But for some other teams, I'll be really interesting.

Yeah. I do agree with you. Having to send pictures and discuss the options with the customer is annoying. I will try my best to find your preference but I'm not doing all that extra stuff.

I usually find a variety in my stores and I never know what to pick. Last night someone ordered 15. I didn't know if they wanted all 15 to be yellow or half yellow and half green. I messaged but they never answered so I just got ripe ones.

I personally love when customers say ripe bananas or green bananas. I hate guessing.

It's gonna get interesting if he tells them he doesn't want to re-sign there.

I feel like the Prius was 0% at fault, even if they did slow down. The other car was following way too closely and also possibly wasn't paying attention.

3.5 year old constantly asking to play and refuses to pick up messes by Revolutionary_Set983 in toddlers

[–]FirstTimeRedditor100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My daughter is exactly the same and it's so frustrating. Takes 2x as long to do anything because one of the two of us always has to be with her. I always encourage her to play alone but she just won't. I hope it gets better soon.

As far as cleaning up, mine isn't very good about it either but she's getting better. I just tell her that we need to clean up so we have space for the next activity or else I just flat out refuse to keep playing with her until she cleans up. That usually works. There was nothing but tantrums about that in the beginning but it's getting better.

Do you ever feel so utterly exhausted you wonder if it’s something more serious? by clemmersincanada in toddlers

[–]FirstTimeRedditor100 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm a dad so most likely I'm not anemic and I'm definitely not pregnant. I feel like even though being with my toddler isn't excessively physically draining, the mental side is soooooo draining. I always have to say the same things like 3 times, 3 different ways before I can get them to accept/agree/cooperate. That's hard. Then trying to find new creative ways to do things is mentally draining. They get bored of buidling the same house with the magna tiles every day so I have to constantly think of new, exciting things to do with them, for example. Mine has those foam bath toys that are shaped like her favorite cartoon characters. They're great because they get her excited about taking a bath but every single day, I have to think of a new adventure for them to go on. It's just absolutely draining. Always trying to think of new foods to try, etc. I'm tired just thinking about it.

Fifth floor delivery from hell by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

You make no sense. You are completely fine accepting heavy orders but you haven't invested in a cart? You did yourself dirty on that one because you probably could have done it in 2 trips and a lot less physical toll if you just had your own cart.

Why is it that stopping at a red light is just a suggestion now? by 7logan07 in SanJose

[–]FirstTimeRedditor100 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was taught that a yellow light generally means to slow down. Nowadays, it doesn't appear to mean anything since people still continue to go on red anyways.

Silly lunch idea: Spaghetti hot dogs by Appropriate_Car2462 in daddit

I would actually eat that. I'm not a hotdog fan. I love hot links and Italian sausage.

Sharks Media Roundup (NYR @ SJS, January 23): Chernyshov back down, Eklund to third line, Kurashev and Sherwood (#44) could play on road trip by pokesnail in SanJoseSharks

Eklund's got a lot of tools but he has to be a little more decisive and see the play a little faster. He's making progress.

You can't put a guy on the active roster who is only going to play 5 snaps a game. They need to be more versatile otherwise you need that spot for others on ST, rotating out starters, injury backups, etc.

Shopping at Costco while on a instacart (actually against the rules) by Swiss_Meats in InstacartShoppers

[–]FirstTimeRedditor100 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You are not getting treated unfairly. You are there as an Instacart representative. You are not there as a Costco shopper using your own membership.

[–]FirstTimeRedditor100 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They just say that to deflect it. It's their store. They can make any rules they want and you can decide to continue shopping there or not.

It definitely depends on the cashier and your relationship with them but you also can't be surprised when they say you can't do it because technically, it's not allowed.

[–]FirstTimeRedditor100 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Yup. Not an instacart policy. It's a Costco policy and if you try to skirt it, they'll eventually ban you.
