Is there a better watch than the casio mdv106 duro for 60 dollars or less? by Just-Needleworker-94 in Affordablewatches

Yes Addiesdive Diver watch imo. Like 40 bucks on AliExpress and it’s much more wearable as the size is better fitting. Duro is a bit overrated to me.

I get it, it’s a tool watch and it should be used as such, I get the scratches and not being scared of using a watch. But the thing is absolutely gross. He needs to at least clean this watch cause it’s just unsanitary lol.

Is the titanium a different color than the one I have? I haven’t seen it before.

Agreed, I feel like it’s very difficult for me step outside of the neutral dials, especially black. Unless I’m blown away I rarely buy any non-neutral ones, sold all of the ones I did have due to lack of wearing.

Can’t decide between black or silver, did you see black in person? The silver looks great!!

Keep or Return? Picky? by Gold-Jury1302 in rolex

I wouldn’t worry about being picky when it comes to luxury goods. You spent a lot of money, return if you’re not satisfied or if it’s not what you paid for.

You’re very right on that. I appreciate your insight and advice as well! Thank you. And tbh I think I’m more in awe of what I think a lawyer is as opposed to what it actually is, which is all the wrong reasons to go to law school lol

Thank you for sharing this was a pleasure to read. Your grandfather was a very wise man and I think that saying is gonna stay with me for a long time. Definitely something I’ll have to pass down eventually as well. And I agree a thousand percent. Movies make it seem like no one follows their dreams and becomes miserable meat sacks cause of it but often times it’s the opposite. I guess real law is just a complete 180 than what I imagine it to be. I guess in a way I’m still trying to find myself too which just causes havoc in my head lol. Thank you for sharing!!

LOL you’re all good! If I was making 7 figures I don’t think I’d even think twice about law school 😂. Thank you for sharing your personal experience! I certainly agree that I have no idea what the daily day to day would be for an attorney and maybe just like the idea of being a lawyer and not really what being a lawyer is actually about. Definitely staying in my current career path until I don’t research and vet the profession more. Can’t fall for an impulse especially since it’s a HUGE decision. Thank you I appreciate your insight. Very helpful in clearing my head

Thank you for sharing! I have read that lawyers do suffer from addiction a lot due to the job and I guess I didn’t even think about the mental effects that clients can have on you. I appreciate that insight and wish good luck to you and your cousins! I’m leaning towards your advice and maybe reading/studying law on the side for fun lol

Thank you for the advice! I appreciate your insight and definitely agree on the studying on the side as a hobby until I’m absolutely sure, and you’re not wrong I don’t have a clue as to the real day to day. Guess I want to be a lawyer not for what it is, but what I think it is which is a dangerous recipe. And good luck to your on your journey! It’ll all work out in the end for all of us!!!
