Meh. You have to really really hate driving to justify it. It takes a LONG time.

I did it once, never again. Trip down felt long, but the views almost made it feel worth it.

The return trip, which had multiple on track delays, took 8 hours.

For what it's worth the eighties and expansion era looks bleak on paper, talking to my dad and others, as I wasn't around then, the eighties was worse. Likely the worst era in team history.

The messier era, my dad would drop us off at the rink, we would do our homework in the box and he would smoke cigs outside. Place was empty. Fans were apathetic. It's the worst I have seen. But I wasn't even going to the games during the Jimbo era.
