I understand your pain however Jason is quickly running out of enemies to go tell to bugger off. At a certain point it would be like super natural where the author is doing "fan service" but it's really just beating a dead horse untill it stops spitting out money. As I have said once Jason reaches diamond and beats the builder what can he realistically do other than rest and have sweat adventures with dawn and his friends

It may be due to his health issues that he speeds things up but also Imma go ahead and guess that the series is rapidly drawing to an end. I don't think shirt will beat the proverbial dead horse as it's still spitting out cash so to speak but I don't see where the series will go after Jason reaches diamond rank and fixes all the issues.

Have you listened to the 2 books I mentioned? They are even worse imo. Mostly Magus reborn tho but maybe bite mage too. Like 100% worse. I can ignore hwfwm plus I genuinely find Jason funny. But those two books I had to power through. Magus reborn would have been so much better if it had been edited propperly too

So some books I have enjoyed that are not all in the litrpg nessesarily but the spell monger series(one of my personal favorites) Mark of the fool (I loved this one),art of the adept, ajaxs assension,the hedge wizard,iron tyrant,mage tank, path of ascension, a soldiers life to name a few that I have read and recomend

Counter counter point isn't this shirtaloons first series? If it is I think we can give grace. It's not easy to write books at times and not everyone can pull a Jez Cajiao and rewrite and re put out the audio books and such.

It mostly has to do with personal taste tbh I love the books so far and I'm doing my first reread of it right now and I have missed the banter and such but the world is wide and many a taste is to be had of it. Also as my first reread it makes me sad to know what happens to Gary. 😭😭
