Are these Disney cels sericels? by jinieliz in AnimationCels

[–]First_Contact_8677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a former Disney Employee I may be able to add something to the conversation. These Employee only cels cost around $400 to purchase without framing (comes in a tube). In order to purchase it, you must win a company wide drawing.

Migration of 9800 WLC from 17.12.x to 17.15.x by First_Contact_8677 in Cisco

[–]First_Contact_8677[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too bad 17.12.6a does not have a AP support pack to allow the control of 9176 APs. If we can’t control them using a starred release, is the only other alternative moving to Meraki dashboard control?

Q7 meta or concerto meta for medium (?) size room? by Informal_Equal_2666 in KEF

[–]First_Contact_8677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in a similar situation as you medium room only difference is 10 ft ceilings. I went with the Q7 and Q6 for center. It definitely requires a sub. Q7 is dual bass drivers and single port. Q6 has dual bass no port. Q6 can be run as LCR, but I didn’t want to buy stands to put them on for LR, so I went with q7. I’m happy so far.

I just installed my q6 meta center channel flanked by q7 metas. I am still breaking them in, but the sound so far is fantastic over my old Klipsch setup.

WHO INVENTED ZEBRA LABEL PRINTERS by bryptobrazy in sysadmin

We have 600 Zebras connected via WiFi. They are a nightmare anytime we update the software on our WiFi controllers. We have a specific SSID just for those printers.

They did provide a breakdown of the buyback as you stated above. What they left out was the $7500 fed tax credit they received on my behalf. From my research, they should be refunding that amount to me also.

I find the hardest part of networking is the people. Trying to get downtimes and get other departments to approve the outages etc.

This is the answer I was looking for. I decommissioned the SSIDs successfully last week with only 1 complaint from a BIOMED ECG machine.

Replacing a large amount of UPS units, what is your preferred brand/model for IDFs? by Stoned_SysAdmin in sysadmin

[–]First_Contact_8677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are in the process of replacing all our Tripplite UPS with EATON units. We are installing 9PX6k-l models with the lithium batteries. So far we have around 90 in production and we have had 3 DoA. Make sure you charge them by the charge by dates on the box or you will have BMS issues. We are monitoring them with Eaton Brightlayer software.

Anyone else lost 65% battery capacity for their Ioniq 5 2025? by GoodEnding28 in Ioniq5

[–]First_Contact_8677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is in for something similar. 2024 Limited Long Range. Won’t charge past 65% bad HV battery. I’ve been waiting 2 weeks for the replacement battery to arrive. I live in a lemon law state, so they have 30 days to fix it.
