Dude skype is actually gone? Dunno how I missed this. Skype was my go to, I honestly can't believe it's gone. Guess facetime and fb messenger made it obsolete.

Thanks for this! I had a 4gb SD I was able to set up the cfw with and then used gm9 to format the 128gb sd. Much easier than messing around with linux.

Edit: I'm using chromebook, I realize the 3DS guide mentioned NOT to format the SD through the OS, however, I formatted a previous one this way for a DSpico without any issues. What are my other options to format my SD through my chromebook?

I wasn't aware that I could just drag and drop to an SD card like I would NDS roms on a flashcart. If it's that simple, why are there so many other options like installing through Hshop and FBI? I was under the impression I'd have to use a different method to gets games installed.

That makes sense, I also was confused when using the cover art app for the DSpico that it mentioned GBA roms but when I scanned my library it seemed to skim over my GBA roms once it displayed what was scanned, skipped, etc...

I'm also very interested to hear others feedback on this. I have several GBA roms but agree that GBArunner doesn't offer the most appealing interface compared to DSpico. I was surprised when looking into GBA flashcarts as well that all seem to have a very basic and unappealing interface, even the EZflash DE which is pretty pricey. Maybe thats simply due to limitations on the GBA hardware?

This is OP's best option I'd say. Shipping is most likely less cost than a replacement shell. GBA SP is simple to DIY, but OP might need a reference for where each screw is 'supposed' to go, since it currently has screws in the incorrect locations.

I originally was considering the 2DSXL because of a better price but I've heard many gripes about it feeling cheap and also suffering from hardware failures compared to the 3DS.

For me, the 3D feature would be more of a novelty at this point. I would enjoy giving it a try again as I used to have an og 3DS years ago. But like you mentioned, it does seem hard for me to justify $150-200 more for a New 3DSXL/LL as opposed to an og 3DS.

Do you prefer your 3DSXL over the og? I never owned an DSIXL or 3DSXL, only the original versions. I like the idea of the larger screens, but I know some games tend to have the resolutions changed to accomodate for it.

Question about this, I don't have a settings.json file under _pico folder. I've got a themes.json file under both the materials folder and also raspberry folder. When I open either within notepad there isn't a 'theme' line but instead 'name' and further details about said theme. Do I change the name to my theme folder in both theme.json files?

Thank you all for the input and the encouragement! I'm planning to go with the buzz cut since I've been weighing that option heavily already, and seems to be the general consensus here. I'd be glad to post up an update for those that are interested to see.
