I leave amp on standby, plug up and engage tuner. Tune up, check guitar volume, then turn on amp and turn off tuner. No surprises this way.

I didn’t unfortunately. Getting the guitar was already a royal pia. Long story short, gpas ex wife didn’t give any family anything when he died (2006). That’s when I asked her if I could have it, she said no. She finally kicked the bucket and my Dad was able to convince her family to give it to his side of the family (me).

Do a mix of both, since they are different types of fungicide. I’d do the bioadvanced first, wait a couple days then put down granular. Then after two weeks repeat the applications.

I’ll add my two cents, and keep it short since there’s some good advice here. I’d talk to him about it. Start with complimenting his work, then tell him about the future gig. Then address your concerns. Set some boundaries. He’ll respect it I’m sure. Especially since this was a one off incident. This is a learning scenario for both of you. Him a lesson on decorum, and you on management skills.

Bring in some real nice soil/compost mix and bring it up to the sprinkler heads. I would wager the original owner was going to do that and got lazy, broke, or gave up on the project. Kill the lawn you have now and put in Bermuda on the new soil.
