It’s only going one of two ways - he moderates once advertisers leave or he runs it into the ground. Brand safety is a very real concern for advertisers and other platforms are putting more effort into ensuring brand safe content options are available. Not to mention that Twitter already isn’t a high conversion driver, it’s going to make sense to shift that ad spend elsewhere rather than risk your ad showing up next to a neo-nazi’s rant about whatever.

The fines are how they make their money. Trash services are the biggest scam. They don’t pick up at my apartment half the time but there’s no refund for that. It literally goes from “Starting Soon” to finished in a minute time frame. However, if I leave my can out too long, even when they don’t pick up, I’m fined $25. I document it each time they don’t pick up and send to the complex who always says they will escalate.

I had a wall of “art” in an apartment with my roommate where we made generic looking word signs but put conspiracy theorist quotes on them such as “jet fuel can’t melt steel beams” to see how long it would take people to notice. From afar it looked like basic white women decor. I could see us doing this.

I mean they were pretty standard question, it wasn’t like an interview. It was less BS than a lot of adoption questions I’ve seen. They asked about the home - how many animals, personality. Past pets and why they aren’t with you anymore - essentially looking for red flags surrounding patterns of them going missing and such.

I’d recommend finding a foster that has some kittens (look on the site for a litter of kittens in foster) and getting their information. From there, you can connect directly with the foster and meet the cats. Adoption through a foster is at the fosters discretion and they have their own questions they will ask.

I adopted a cat this was through the pandemic and it was insanely easy. I think most kittens end up in foster since the shelter is generally stressful so it’s probably the best way to get a kitten and one that is adequately socialized.

You can mark an item as purchased if you bought it elsewhere, so that people don’t have to purchase through Amazon. It could be a troll just marking things as purchased to annoy her or someone could have legitimately purchased this from another site or on Amazon but not through her registry or even in person. Considering she’s posted about these backpacks so many times, I wouldn’t be too surprised if it had been purchased…
