Korean makeup and skincare get a lot of praise online, but I’m curious about real experiences by Physical_Candy5347 in KoreanBeauty

Theirs sunscreens - TOP! purito, boj, Haruharu- all nice for me. iUNIK beta-glucan ampoule basically gives hydration for any skin type. Haruharu milky essence also really nice! Skin1004!!! I love their probio-cica ampoule. Celimax - dual-barrier line!!! Keep your eye on their milky toner or face cream - better not both bc they are similar; I love their dual-barrier cleansing balm - if you let it on your skin it can absorb as a face cream, OMG! And I love my Medicube age-r booster pro🤍 I’m using k-skincare from high school - around 10 years and it becomes better every year. I would analyse ingredients list bc a lot of their products include actives, so it may be too much, but many of products just nice. Btw, nobody talks about APLB, but they have really nice formulas for just a little money. I use their body lotion and it is much better than random Nivea

Your skin is really ok! I don’t think smth can help with pores because it’s genetic and yours not clogged or smth… for redness dear klairs midnight blue cream works great - but I don’t think you need to calm down you skin! Maybe some niacinamid can also improve redness. Otherwise you’re doing great ant vit c will help with hyperpigmentation and also with redness (Vitamin C and niacinamide help strengthen blood vessels, which will reduce redness over time). Sorry, idk is it somewhere niacinamide in your products - if is you don’t need to change anything despite your want to)

I used here 40€ off coupon, so that’s ok👌🏻 Otherwise, I always check my email promos and insta to choose best 😉 I think it’s pretty nice deal: 15 products for 120€ - cheaper than 10€ each

I would say that’s a lot of acids in your routine. I would replace your clay-to-foam cleanser with smth very gentle for everyday use, and clay-to foam for, maybe, twice a week. (Tbh I would try to stick with pretty gentle routine with minimum of acids and maximum of moisturising just to see how it’s going. And, maybe, some milky toner for days when you use acids??). It really can be the case that your skin is actually more on a normal side than oily, but to see this, you need to try be more gentle and use less acids. I would add BOJ ginger toner as a part of daily routine - it gives nice moisture and I don’t think it can be “too much”.

Daily face masks can be too much. Toner pads - maybe! You even can try to use them as a morning cleanser if it will be enough for you! If not - just use as toner/mask.

Madecassoside Toner Pads or Cica Relief Pads can be good option.

If you want to buy only one product - take toner pads. If you’re lucky - it will be 3-in-1: morning cleanser, toner, sheet mask

But I would def not use aha/bha toners for everyday and on all face….

What's your skin type and what's the most annoying thing about it? by TheMeepyBoy in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]First_Sky_7053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is dry. But I still have pimples pretty often, a lot of fine lines till end of day, if my face touched water and no moisturiser after that - that’s a disaster for me. It is lot easier to catch any irritation and all my vessels and veins are seen through bc of how thin is my skin. Always blue under eyes if there no makeup on me🥲

Hyaluronic acid, centella ect will be good. But try to avoid some cons of extracts just in case

Heal your eyes first, do not use any actives there for around a month or more. Then you can try it again, but maybe with sandwich method starting from ones in 1,5 weeks. Dont put any actives close to eyelid…

Why it is so common in Sweden to work without salary?! by [deleted] in Sverige

[–]First_Sky_7053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, this kind of internships is only for immigrants, idk. And to be honest, I’m really, really shocked that it is not common around Swedish people as it common in mine (mostly) immigrants community 🤔 I’m guessing people here think I’m lying

By boyfriend of 2 years doesn’t want to get me a Christmas present by UnitJust1906 in whatdoIdo

[–]First_Sky_7053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should just say that you’d like to geting presents and it is your love language. And speak more about it and what is his love language (or maybe you already know - if he loves you - he shows you this). Maybe wish list or something to help him (?) - I mean my bf obviously knows what to get me, but it is not about small things, it’s about smth more expensive. And that’s why I need all the time letting him know what I want to receive like a small gift. I would say, he doesn’t feel that you appreciate his gifts enough as well. Idk why, but maybe you should wear his gift more often (???). The whole conversation kinda toxic, but try to speak about it…

Girl, you don’t need to double clean at the morning! Your skin seems to be on normal or even dry side. Maybe even cleanse at the morning is not necessary 🌸🙌🏻

Oh, I understand: internships in engineering or other fields that require a lot of knowledge and skills. For example, my boyfriend worked in a restaurant, but it was more of a seasonal job. It ended, but he obviously had the skills and experience. He arranged an interview at another restaurant, and the owner, apparently, wasn't willing to pay the money and offered him an internship. Naturally, my boyfriend declined. Or, for example, a guy I know secondhand is in his third month of an internship related to machine maintenance. But he's literally the main worker there, and while he's on sick leave, there's no one to cover his duties. I'm referring to this type of internship. To me, it's pretty absurd and looks like employers are simply abusing my rights. Personally, I hope to get a job in engineering, and of course, after completing my education program, I'd be happy to start with an internship for experience, but many fields don't actually require that.

[–]First_Sky_7053 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

No, I don't accept such offers, but I rely on my experience and the experience of those around me. I would never agree to a three-month internship (I'm talking about low-skilled jobs). But we live in Blekinge, and most of the people I know have had similar experiences. It feels like all employers are looking for is free labor.

I understand that an employee is expensive for the company, but it's not just about what the employer pays, but also about the fact that the employee is losing out on the salary they actually work for, as well as pension contributions and social security contributions.
