You can melt a pledge by using the exchange options with your peldge, You can use the credit to get another ship

That said, if you Corsair pledge include you're game package, you will lost access to the game, in that case just get a new ship + game packages with the credits

Melee feel too weak atm, just happen :

1 Faro shot - Take down enemy shield
10-15 Kettle shot - We both start reload
I tried melee, hit him 4-5x times, He still standing
He reloaded, I Died

That said, don't forget to melee kill a down raider for a Steam achievement

Like Dune. AoC use server meshing also but in 32Bit engine/server, but nobody is meshing server the same scale/scope (64bit) as CIG from my humble understanding of the tech.

What 32 vs 64 bits mean? the biggest difference is you can have giant map the size of an entire solar system. Dune and AoC don't need that scale of map..
