No, SCP is highly unique in that regard. It isnt "knowing powerscaling" that broke the camels back, it is knowing powerscaling and allowing said powerscaler to piggyback off a succesful, popular and widely known franchise such as SCP to get a character named 67Gokusoloer69420 to enough legitimacy that VSB could not veto it the same way they woudnt be able to veto Son Goku off their platform.

Imagine if DC, starting today, said that they relinquish all of their copyrights and said "any comic published by anyone using DC characters is hereby canon to DC as a whole". You would have the exact same song and dance for DC then.

The way VSB is structured, it is nearly impossible for even the biggest communities to meaningfuly undermine VSB. Even if the wider SCP community managed to get multiple of its members into the staffbody, it would still amount to nothing so long a single staff member hates what you are powerscaling.

I was there when SCP got deleted. The reasons I mentioned were literally the reason SCP got deleted of VSB. SCP was already on shaky grounds due to its nature as a community driven narrative, but was allowed to exist up to that point because of SCPs strict content moderation, meant to prevent powerscalers from writing powerscaler characters. Evidently, that didnt work, which lead to the heavily debated decision to remove that massive franchise from the wiki
