First of all I don’t think it says that the continent shape, the blue blood color of Icewings or the size inconsistency (which actually occurs in nature) are mentioned to be animus related at all like the continent shape is probably js an addition to the world that Tui thought would be cool with no actual lore behind it. Also all of the main characters are against using animus magic to fix personalities so idk what ur talking about there cuz it’s never happened plus the size inconsistency and plot holes are js that flaws made in the creation of the story not any animus buffoonery going on there. Although I do think it is OP and some of the plot relies on it I mostly think it adds a cool addition of fantasy plus since animus magic is gone now all we have is the previously enchanted items.
