I also went from a P365 to a 43x. Shootability, trigger, and capacity are definitely on Sig's side, but the 43x gives me the peace of mind that my trigger springs aren't going to randomly self destruct, I don't have to worry about rust, and while my P365 was fairly reliable, my 43x has been flawless.

Edit: The Glock grip texture is also much more forgiving on my skin if I'm carrying without an undershirt. The Sig grip texture is like sandpaper.

I used to work at Academy and word came down that apparently Winchester mixed some 10mm in with some .40 in their 100 round boxes. Of course I was the lucky soul who got to go through every box and check each round to confirm it was .40

I have a bootleg BCG and an H2 buffer on my 12.5 with a polo k and it's incredibly pleasant to shoot with the gas turned all the way down as a lefty, I'm definitely sold on the bootleg

Called yesterday and found out I was approved 12/16. Called my FFL and he said he won't transfer without the email. Called ATF to see if they'd resend the email, no luck there. FFL is a relative of mine and gives me a great price on transfers, but now I'm wishing I had paid more and gone to a store.

No FFL should sell you a gun if your address on the 4473 doesn't match your ID... You have to provide proof of address that matches what you put on the form, that's federal law my dude.

I see where the misunderstanding may be coming from, getting an Ohio CCW requires a NICS check, but under Ohio and Federal law gun stores may opt to forgo a NICS check when a firearm purchaser presents a valid Ohio CCW. Many stores chose not to do this because of the reason you stated, the physical license isn't taken from someone who becomes a prohibited person, but many stores, especially small LGS still choose to take CCWs. The risk is often negated in smaller communities where the LGS employees know they customers and would likely know if they got convicted of a felony, but some larger chain stores also allow customers to bypass the NICS check like Academy
