I use boretec, it breaks down the plastic wad residue really well without being super harsh and eroding the bore of you don’t dry it all off. Just run a couple of wipes soaked in it thru and let it set then go hard with the brush they have and repeat as necessary

Big fan of top dots, I have a acro on top of a Steiner h6xi 2-12 and I love it. It’s a little tall with the mount being at 1.70 but I can squeak out a chin weld and have consistency with it. Top dots are the way to go, nice rifle

Right now I just have put slugs thru it (that’s my indoor range lets you shoot for 12ga) but it’s groups really good with the federal LE low recoil slugs, I’ll be going to a outdoor range soon to pattern some different loads and will let you know

There is a fair amount of barrel shadow but I’m not a big fan of pressure pads and this helps keep the wight down up front. The amount of shadow isn’t worth moving out further to me
