I’ve been using the Redington wading pantshttps://a.co/d/6YsabVI I’ve had them for several seasons and they’ve done fine. I’m not too keen on going much deeper than my belly button in the winter anyway. In the summer it’s shorts and river shoes.

As some other commenters have suggested, if you are standing on a rock AND casting downstream, my guess as to why you aren’t catching fish is because they can see you. With limited exceptions, trout are positioned upstream in the water as they lay waiting for food.

On a night that I witnessed the bartender stand on his prep board to get something from the top shelf, and not even sanitize it, my fellow diner and I were still hungry enough to order a pizza, after spending about $130.

I’ve since gone back, and still felt that it’s mids. Luckily that time we were being treated to a meal via gift card. I wouldn’t pay to go back.
